A big part of why she quit was her throat problems. If she streams again, it's gonna be on Jim's schedule.

I'm absolutely salty about the direction that this shit is going. Coupling all of the shit going down within the last almost year at this point along with a lot of EN talents (and some JP) talking about a 'shift' happening in 2024 before Justice joined, it gives me zero faith on the future of Hololive for content I'm looking for. The MASSIVE amount of merch increase, the hard focus on corporate collaborations, the general change from goofy bullshit that would fly way back when, it's all just making me not want to buy anything. I was never an SC'er, but I did buy a decent amount of merch, but it just all feels so fucking money-hungry now. Kiara, the main girl I watch, still streams a really good amount so I'm not directly affected by this in terms of immediate future of content I like, but you just hear everyone, her included talking about more and more bullshit on the back end, what's the point that it snaps for the ones who are actually streaming a decent amount still?
It also feels like FuwaMoco went from being the posterchild of good vtubing on the EN side to an absolute shitshow as management seemingly pushes them to do more and more management related events and tasks. Their first half year and some change was amazing, but now it feels like they're being posited to be the replacement 'face' for EN and that has absolutely destroyed their channels output.

Probably. But I do expect png not-Mumei to show up in some streams I'll be watching, and if her cough is psychosomatic it'll fade with her feeling of responsibility.

Maybe. Axel and Kson already happen and consider Kson has done some works with game company and I can see a future where HoloJP cross path with her again at least for a promotion event (some JP girls already reacted to her scene in Yakuza). EN girls are hard to tell since a lot of them don’t do big outside collab. Nimi is our best chance since I can see her sneaking into one of GG league game under a different name and she is friend with Mint who has collab a lot with the other girls so maybe they can used her as bridge for big collab, Dooby is definitely a no go since she is still an affiliate, Gura is too shy to collab with people now let alone when she reincarnated and Mumei seem done with vtubing for now.

Because like I've been trying to bang on about every time these words turn into a full on rrat fest. The general phrasing and terminology used here are boilerplate vague corpospeak it's done intentionally. It's like when a couple breaks up and they just say "we decided to see other people" it tells you that a break happened while giving you as little as possible actual information as to what caused it. and it's even similar when the announcement is made from management side going back as far as Sana's graduation for this example.

Sounds like they disagreed on direction huh. It just generically means "we couldn't reach an agreement and so we're parting ways"

The disagreements could quite likely be different in each individual that's the thing with it being such a generic and broad statement.
