In most communities, there isn't some random upstart who gets in and ruins it in a day, it's always someone who has been there a while and either grew resentful or got turned by someone. Doubtful. I'm sure they'll come back eventually, if not within a week or two at the absolute soonest. I'm personally a bit more intrigued at the prospect of 4chan users migrating to (and becoming exclusively active on) Twitter and, to an equal/lesser extent, Reddit--reminiscent of the Tumblr purge back in the day. I highly doubt their presence would have anywhere near the same effect that the latter previously had on the internet, but I'm still curious if something could change nonetheless.
