That's also another point that gets glanced over too, this is mostly the EN side that's having the problem. I'm not on board with the "derrr dey hate EN!" train, but moreso that the EN girls probably just clearly want something else after the world settled down.60 Talents is a huge amount.
Honestly though, not surprised.
Covid was still on going in 23 so everyone signed on for 24 and when the work load got way harder and pressure got stacked much more, combined with other life obligations and illness, 24/25 was going to shed loads fast.
Is it purely a content/options thing, a money dispute, or issues with the company? Well we have no data for that. Sana basically vanished and does her art gig. Nimi's just doing similar stuff and as far as I've seen actively isn't all that different. Dooby seemed about the same too. What Mumei and Gura decide to do is who knows. ID is still chugging despite a few moments that looked like a first was coming while most of JP seems content strolling along.
4-5 years is a decent chunk of time in your 20s. I frankly don't find it the least bit surprising they didn't want to commit to contracts and whatever for all of it. Especially when they might feel like they know enough and can be their own bosses while doing whatever with less spotlight. I do think it's weird that "like 8 people who have been there for years leaving at once" is odd, but not the other side that losing like 2 in 5 or so years before that is ALSO an oddity. If you didn't have them filtering out over time then you could pretty reasonably assume that a fair few were going to go in a similar time period.
Could there still be more to it? Obviously. But sometimes there isn't. Without more info I'm not going to assume though.
