Since it was called out in the video it's worth mentioning some of those testifying for the side that lost. The Scottish government (SNP) and by implication the UK one (Labour), Amnesty International, Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC).

The video also made me realise that per the law it's possible when the Fife case resumes the trans doctor can and probably should be called "he" throughout legally. That could be interesting, wonder if they'll try to slam a gender rights certificate through before that can happen.

Yesterday before this court ruling the trans were going on about "parental coercision isn't a thing" (as if that trans kid whose parents testified in Texas doesn't exist). Some good lunacy there too.

The great coercion was that a doctor looked at my naked body and sexed it, and then, my parents and community chose for me a gendered name and upbringing.

In a free society, this wouldn't have happened. But the reality is that our first gender is pushed upon us, on the basis of a fictive "sex."

The trans struggle is to liberate our gender from the lie that was our "observed birth sex."

We can do that a number of ways, including by modifying our body to be more like the other sex, but ultimately it is our gender we are shifting, and with it, the way the world treats us.

If I'm opposed to the sex/gender distinction, it is only in the sense that I believe sex is fake and that when I go to the doctor's office what I am really asking him to do is alter my gender.

Due to the hate filled law that was passed, I found out some trans people don't know that you now, legally, HAVE to tell any partner you get with that you're trans. If you don't, you're potentially a rapist. Yes, even if you pass, and have a GRC. Link to law below.

I've said it before, it is astonishing how only in the last couple of years they have collectively gone from "who, us?" to "yes, and what of it?" on this topic. One more reason why it was high time their movement was kiboshed.

He's trying to be slick but I see him that fucker. He's saying that trans identified women (pooners) are now required to use the women's bathroom and they're SO INDISTINGUISHABLE from actual men that now, actual men will be able to sneak into the women's bathroom. Because men and pooners look exactly the same.

I also got the impression he's saying that if women get raped by men in women's bathrooms they deserve it. Because women made the super manly pooners have to use the women's bathroom thus allowing actual men in.

Ah yes, I've seen that one before if that's what it is. Somehow the heckin' transphobia is both hurting actual women who look kinda masculine by putting them in constant danger of being harassed by "transvestigators" AND making women let their guard down about males entering their spaces.
