That was a good one-punch KO on this whole thing by releasing the MS-13 information, makes them look more retarded than before.

Meanwhile Senator Faggot wasn't allowed to see his criminal butt buddy, is upset we're paying El Salvador to house criminals.

Then Karoline Leavitt had the mother of a victim of an illegal rapist murder show up at the press briefing and completely fuck up their narrative.

it will never stop amazing me that coach redpill will now go down in history as a martyred american journalist exposing corruption in ukraine. it's the pinnacle of reality being stranger than fiction.

lol bit low brow about it ed. haha( back on topicas local say fuck my monney we thorw you into polatics of eather end get rid you that way)/
are you drunk? seriously, what the fuck are you saying? i'm not trying to be mean, it looks like you're genuinely having a stroke, if your country of residence has ambulances, please call one.

Does that mean that taxes would get processed 40% faster?
Only if the 40% being cut is the dead weight who doesn't care about their job and looks for any excuse they can find to not do their job. It's a running joke in the accounting world that calling the IRS is a coin toss: you'll either get someone very helpful or someone who'd just as soon do nothing helpful for you with no middle ground.

I imagine the biggest bottleneck is outdated computer systems that can't be easily upgraded/updated, though. Sadly, no reduction int he workforce is going to fix that issue any time soon it's probably one of the biggest obstacles in modernizing the IRS.

Similar things in business regulations where there was a shitload of bloat he did away with. Not because he was against any regulation but because he correctly identified it as useless bloat that didn't do shit, hence his famous quote about "I'm from the government and I am here to help" being one of the scariest sentences in the english language, because in the 1980s everyone could remember how such "help" turned out in the 1970s.
In the 70s and early 80s, the government not only wasn't very helpful, it could be flat out snarky over the most trivial matters. When shredding unneeded documents some time ago, I came across an old business tax return from that era that having a small (less than 50 cents) math error on it. A government official sent it back with the correction and the mistake circled in red pencil with, "WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM?" written in big red capital letters next to it.

Trump has wanted to get rid of bloat since his first term. This time, however, he's made more of an effort to find like-minded people interested in accomplishing that goal. Sure, there will always be some degree of bloat, corruption, etc. but reducing it when the opportunity presents itself is a good thing.

It's an interesting truth that the people who want to be in politics usually should not be, while the people who would be good in politics don't want anything to do with it.

My prediction is that the Dems barely take back the House in 2026, as the opposition almost always does, after the DNC pours money into unseating 'Centrist' Blue Dog Democrats with Progressives in swing districts. Republicans gain a 1-2 seats in the Senate with Kemp in GA and Sununu in NH. It's going to be a mirrored version of the 2022 midterms. Vance presumably will have a decent chance of winning in 2028, assuming Trump doesn't manage to tank the economy right beforehand, but it's going to be close unless the Democrats nominate an outright Socialist.

I would never count out the Democratic Party, as much as I wish I could. It's the oldest party in the world. It's the party of Andrew Jackson, Jefferson Davis, Grover Cleveland, Woodrow Wilson, FDR, George Wallace, JFK, Obama, etc. The party has shapeshifted for almost two centuries at this point to survive, to a point where none of its original principles are intact, and done so extremely successfully.
I don't fully agree that the Democrats don't represent their original core values. If you look at every Democrat President from Andrew Jackson and Martin Van Buren all the way to Obama and Biden they are usually very consistent, the only difference is you had to read between the lines more with some of them. The Democrats were always the party of real racism (not meme racism) and today you have Democrats openly saying we need minorities to do slave labor for pennies or USA will collapse because white people should be expected to have comfy jobs. The Democrats have always been everything they accuse conservatives of being.

Fuck me this is a massive massive optics loss for the left... out of like 50 others this past year... they can't stop fucking it up.

...While I don't actually believe the following, I do like to sometimes entertain the conspiracy theorist part of my brain. The one that believes in a Deus Ex style organization runs all western nations, while politics are a show they put on to manipulate the thoughts of the masses.
The people who run the deep state / uniparty are all super old or dead. So they can't run the world like they used to. They also salted the earth for people who could usurp them after obama won. Because they made a Faustian deal with Hillary so she could become president. So you end up with people like AOC and Jasmine Crockett. They believe the most left leaning shit while being stupid and running their mouths 24/7.

The Republican Party is called the GOP, which is short for Grand Old Party, because they’re the older of the two

they'll have to build an entire second system first, because you cannot make the tax system inaccessible for any real length of time. this would be one of the most costly, long-term changes that the US could undertake, and it would also be a system riddled with problems. look at modernized state welfare systems, they still have those issues and sometimes more, as well as the same problem of laqueesha being the most likely to apply for a government job, and being underqualified to answer fucking phone and click through modern, updated systems somehow.
