Don't worry Karl, the retarded trannies are on your side.

I've written several different things, but something stood out so I'm gonna focus in on that. At timestamp 28:45, we have Karl going into Billy being a liar and on video and these are Karl's words, not mine.

"For example; we have Billy on video in 2023, during his Twin Galaxies deposition, saying that the effect I've had on him is minimal."

What then plays is a man asking Billy about emotional distress caused by Karl and others. Then Karl says that during the trial, Billy said Karl ruined his life. Now I'm not a lawyer, but I like to think I'm mostly of sound mind at times and have an idea of the way shit works from watching people talk about shit they're licensed and knowledgeable of; that being said, this is Australian law, so I'm open to being completely wrong. The problem with this argument, Karl, is part of proving libel/defamation/slander/etc is proving a monetary loss. So yes, during a deposition, Billy said you and your friends didn't do much emotional damage to him; one of his arguments in court, is after the accusation of driving Apollo to suicide, is he was invited to fewer events/conventions/whatever, which is where personalities, like Billy, make money. So you want to say Billy is a liar because one time he said you haven't done anything to him, then in court he says you ruined his life; when what I see is your inability to cut this cake properly. You didn't inflict emotional distress to Billy, however you did hurt his financial prospects and social standing by having the suicide accusation tie to him not being invited to places.

Now I'm not gonna draw my own allegations about why Karl did it like this, but I'll leave with two possible outcomes. Karl is just too fucking stupid to cut that fine of a line and understand the how/why that line is cut like that; despite having lawers (yes lawyers, with an "s" at the end, per Karl's own words). Or he's too fucking big headed and wants to play by his own rules, in which case he's right, everyone else is wrong and stupid; which is something you see a lot in the sped-running communities. And if it's the second one, I'd again like to say, lawyers, with an "s" at the end, couldn't convince Karl the how and why. Either way, Karl's a fucking retard and I feel bad for his lawyers for having a massive sped as a client.

Is he usually playing Minecraft in his videos? Not what I expected from a court loser. 2-3 minute Donkey Kong runs where he dies would've been kino.

"I apologize for the generic Minecraft footage, I feel I don't do well on camera." Since when, the 52 second dam where you sob in tears and your chink wife headpats you?

The worst part about it is that he's using speedrunner strategies
This is one of the reasons I stopped watching spedrunners; is once they get into the mindset, they're incapable of playing games any other way. Even if it's a game they never played before, they can't just go in and feel it out like most people; they go to the spedrunner community and see what others do and then try to play the game like that. I don't want to say everything is cookie cutter, but a lot of it is cookie cutter; you have people discover stuff and try new things, but a majority of it is just copying what came before, even when trying something new. Which is one of the reasons I love watching spedrunners fail and be unable to recover; because they never learned the real game, they learned a narrow focused part of it, and don't know how to react when shit doesn't go their way.

At one point there were more likes than views, don't know what that was about, probably just a glitch.

TL;DR networks are hard.

Likes and views are stored in a distributed database, and changes in one server (X person viewed and liked it) take different times to percolate to the other instances. Eventually all nodes get the message and adjust their values, but the system will have those inconsistencies because, presumably, the nodes don't communicate view + likes together. So by the time the server you're talking to gets an answer for view count, it may be outdated relative to its answer to its answer of likes count.

The video is boring so I stopped watching it. He just goes on about a bunch of boring bullshit that no one cares about.
All this proves to me is that you don't have to go to broadcasting school anymore to do le faggot deep voice narration and make it sound like everything you're saying is factually true just because you're saying it a deep narrator voice.

"This burden was all too much and Appolo ended up taking his own life"
"I deliberately used 'and' to [technically] not imply causality"

That just makes the defamation sound deliberate and premeditated, Karl.
This argument was the dumbest of them all.
He spoke about a chain of events that followed upon each other and were causally connected, then put another event at the end, and this single one is where the viewer needs to mindread and understand that he does not mean it the same way.

Utter retardation.

Bottom line is that most of his fans watching his videos and using them as primary source for updates about the case would not know what the case was about. At least he acknowledges this at the end and calls himself an idiot. But it's really just baffling. I don't know how putting out a video saying "Get this, now he's suing me for blaming him for another YouTuber's death!" would hurt his case, how is that different from the dozen other videos he made about the cheating allegations? Unless of course he knew he didn't have as much of a case there.

And saying his ApolloLegend retraction being tacked on at the end of that Dark Souls video is justified because of the view count is just hilarious. He knows the view count was for a Dark Souls video and the totally unrelated retraction at the end was something people just tuned out and went to another tab for the same as his sponsor segments. He isn't that stupid but he's hoping his viewers are. Obviously he was trying to bury it and bring as little attention to it as possible.

Karl, Buddy, KARL!

Take a step back.

If a boomer judge takes just ONE look at your YouTube channel. What does he see?

„THS guy is a cheater.“
„THIS guy is a fraud.“
And you show these statements MILLIONS!

But NOW it hits YOU back and you‘re like „uWu don‘t take statements about me out of context.“

Dude.
For the judge and others you‘re a guy who earns his living with drama and causing harm to others.

Entertaining, sure.
But now you know how it feels to be at the receiving end.
Painful… right?

So shouldn‘t it be obvious why people would sue you?
And isn’t it obvious why you lost?

I also absolutely love that he justifies "I couldn't *not* talk about it" with "it's just not in my nature" - I think you can infer a lot from that; he seems to think that human behavior is completely immutable and that people are incapable of change for any reason, which says a lot more about him than it does about Billy.

Ninety-nine times out of a hundred it's not really foul play, it's different technical systems working out of sync - the system that tallies views probably works at a different pace than the system that tallies likes and they update in batches rather than frequently because it has a lower processing footprint, which you need when you're working with enormous amounts of data.

I'm only vaguely familiar with this guy because I don't follow speedtrooning, and I only know him from his involvement with the Completionist drama, and for that hostile response video towards "Moon Channel" (I just checked and he did post something Jobst related recently).

But there's something immensely satisfying about watching unlikable lying egomaniacs lose. I hope he appeals and loses everything.

Have a nice day.
