cmon man be a bit more fair to em. they do have a bit of a point with the claim that theres nor real only woman space on the internet. im just saying they got a bit of a point. I think if you can identify that you can identify with the fact that they might want a space of there own in a space like this where there isnt all that many of them. Nothing is stopping women from building from the ground up their own spaces on the web. They have preferential treatment in public schools and uni admissions, doubly so to tech related programs and bootcamps, along with tons of free scholarships and other benefits. And even more preferential hiring into related jobs. In many cases simply having a vagina with the most generic tech cert will guarantee a nice job with almost unlimited upward mobility. Yet for some reason they dont? Perhaps its because they cannot, or arent willing to do the work or just want male attention at the end of the day. Who can be sure?
As far as needing protection irl, statistically men are targeted far more often and the victims of violent attacks. Sure most of these women are mid but this picture makes it worse, nobody wants to look at a bunch of sourly nuns in F1 uniforms, women in particular hate this shit because it triggers their "you think you better than me?" reflex. Men of course won't watch this, F1 is already struggling for views without female empowerment bullshit, even if the crashes are fun to watch. Can confirm. The prettiest girl in my class became an F1 Grid girl. Now shes married to a millionaire and lives in a mansion in California. Another girl I knew was a Stewardess for Richard Bransons Virgin Flights. So she got invited to Richard Bransons parties. She also, landed a millionaire husband.

That's not all of them, but you're beginning to notice a pattern here? It's almost entirely made up of middle aged blokes. Do any of them seem like they would know or care on how to market a female sport? These are not the faces you see when you see female sports being marketed. Now granted, the racing championship was organized by a woman - Catherine Bond Muir, who was also the CEO of the W Series, but as far as her work experience goes, she worked at corporate finance and was intellectual property solicitor, skills that are important in accumulating financing for racing championships to make possible, but nothing that would really indicate good marketing or even experience in the entertainment business.

Not only that, but many female race drivers found the existence of the W series distasteful, because they viewed it as segregation, and perceived that segregation of the genders in motorsport being celebrated with brands like Puma engaging in marketing campaigns, called stuff like "she moves us". Which makes sense, imagine if some former Chinese employee from F1 were to organize a racially segregated race championship, specifically for Asians, filled up their roster with amateur drivers and it would have brands like Adidas celebrating such segregation with a marketing campaign called "The winning view". Would that help alleviate the negative stereotypes of Asians being perceived as bad drivers? I don't think so.
