Looks like Karl's former "friend" uploaded another video to address everything and it seems that Karl's claims of them "being bro's again" was just damage control on Karl's part as he was the only one that claimed that and vanburen states they are not friends and at most only acquantices. The only reason he was unbanned from discord was due to Karl copping tons of bad press from it, so he had to sweep it up for his public image.


He posted his private dm's between him and Karl after the ban.

He'd likely incurr another 400k in lawyers fees at the minimum.
That lawyer (LUS) said on one of the dozen videos that there are lawyers that only do appeals and they are more expensive, especially if its a stubborn client like Jobst who wants to tell how you to defend him.
Does it matter? He's already bankrupt basically, if you're 1 million in debt already and you will never be able to pay, whats another 600k on top?

No at least from what I'm reading unless the judge says "your punishment is too low or a miscarriage of justice" but it's more likely they lower it or tell him to pay what is owed

This he's lost already close to 1 million in debt this will make it worse Karl is a retard worst outcome for him and best outcome for all viewers is wife leaving him and taking the house and the kid

I do not think Karl ever seriously considered the possibility of Billy Mitchell winning the lawsuit. He mentioned it one time in passing as a joke, and clearly didn't think there was any real chance he'd lose. Which, considering the subject matter and his defense, is CRAZY to think about. How can there not be a single moment of clarity where you read over the documents and go "wait, I'm fucking retarded. My defense is completely batshit insane. I should fix this shit before it goes any further."?

Gonna be a feelings fag for a second but that this whole thing stems from someone's suicide that Karl decided to hijack to get some kind of W kinda fucks with me a little.

There's something beyond fucked up about that.

And I don't care on a deep level about Apollo Legend. I didn't even know that there was this whole thing or that he was actually a person before this.

Maybe that's cruel but I consider it more humane than being buddy buddy with the very same people named in the suicide note, then trying to hijack it by pinning it on someone entirely unrelated.

Also those speedrunning faggots need to get a fucking life and stop acting like some asshole with luscious hair cheating on an old arcade game from the 80s is some kind of crime against humanity.
