Did /tv/ just not have a Japanese live action movies thread? I know /jp/ had a thread for live action nip media. Just asking because it seems like even with a lot of new blood, nobody has recommended Null anything by people like Kiyoshi Kurosawa.

/tv/ wasn't generals, so you could pretty much bring up whatever. I've posted threads about Miike before.

I know, and to my credit I have been. I don't know why this thread is normal paced and everywhere else is dead. It's also kind of hard to find threads to post in, like I found a horror general but all the other tv-themed threads under Multimedia are anodyne titles like "Whad are you eading when u watch movee" and like 1000 responses going back to 2012, how am I supposed to pop on and be like "Yeah so that White Lotus finale was fire bruh" and liven the place up. At the same time I like the functionality on this site as I've said many times, I dig the vibe and I'm not trying to knock Nvll's efforts it's great that he's like internet Jesus and self-sacrificing that I may poast, so I'm not going to turn my nose up too high I'm just saying the kiwifarmers itt should do more to cultivate an engaging environment. Technically this is a lolcow website for gossip about lolcows. Some of the best threads are the lolcow threads, but you have to have a special kind of autism to care as much about Internet retards as we do.
When I was a newfag I also found it a bit daunting to post. A&N, as you say, is essentially a circlejerk for /pol/fags. It can be fun but it's basically no different than /pol/ in terms of content, maybe less BBC spam. I recommend to find some on-topic lolcow threads you like, since lolcow content is the easiest to engage with on the forum. Community watch threads are especially easy to get into since you don't need to learn all the lore and background of a specific person.

I can semi-confirm, I tried posting a KF link on [wsg] but it kept flagging it as spam. Then again [wsg] also has really weird/strict spam filters so it could've been a false positive.
