“Sorry kids, Daddy has to go to jail because he had a midlife crisis and stuck his dick into crazy.”
"Sorry, kids, the court is making me go to jail because that man who fed you while I did drugs and fucked his wife totally fucking got me into trouble. Can you believe that? As if I DON'T KNOW how much coke is too much. Insane. And I can clearly pass a sobriety course when I need to, there's absolutely no problem. What are they even trying to prove?"
To really Nickpost you can't accept responsibility anywhere.

I'm fucking late, but isn't that exactly what the prosecution recommended? You're telling me that three separate family members all complained about how much Nick needs to drive his kids around and it meant
NOTHING?!
"Driving muh KEEEEEEDZ around" "Drivin muh KEEEEEEEEEEEDZ around" "Drivin muh KEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEDZ around."

Literally every single fucking letter. Tell me Nick didn't write every single one of those letters.

Those are probably the worst letters for clemency that have ever been written in human history. There is literally nobody in existence that can share any positive or redeeming attributes about Nicholas Robert Rekieta.

That's grim.

It seems like most people believe that if Rekieta can stay away from drugs and alcohol until 1 August 2025, the 28 days jail goes away.

Okay, but what happens when he fails a probation mandated drug test after this date?

What is his punishment then?
I think the 30 days are stayed if he manages it until then.
But if he slips up he will end up in front of a judge, has to explain himself, and can be sent to jail for a little taste then.

Right now its a "last chance Balldo" situation. You either get your shit straight or you go to jail.

Enjoy prison, stalker child
Oh no, five years of sobriety with random testing! How unfair! Just because he gave his daughter some coke? How will he ever survive this draconian verdict? He should take this to the Supreme Court of the United States! I’m sure a lawyer of his calibre can easily sway all the justices. I’m certain that once he finishes his plea to the highest court, all the justices will stand up and clap, vindicate him of all charges, and offer him a seat on the Court.

I don't get it, what is so amazing about 5 years probation?
The threat of having it revert to custody in prison if one "makes a mistake". The freedom of the Probation Officer or any cop to search your person or your house at any time, just to see if you've "made a mistake".

The house search might need the PO approval, depending on state. The thing is, your PO has to approve any travel, and can make your life hell if they dislike you. If your PO claims you violated your conditions, going straight to prison is a real possibility.

Does he also have to maintain his guilt for the 5 years? So not only will he have his precious vices taken away, he'll have to lick the boot too? Or does that condition go away now?

His PO is going to send his ass to jail? No, he'll get arrested for a violation and the judge will send him to counseling or rehab or do nothing at all and Nick won't care.
My reading of the deferral of the 30 days jail is that it gives immediate power to arrest and hold him. No need to wait for judge and re-sentence or even rehab. Straight to jail for up to 28 days.

The charge is effectively nullified if he gets through 5 years of probation incident-free. 🌈

I suppose he can technically protest his innocence, but it's cope, obviously.
