Yeah. One of them tried to recruit me when I was 16. I'm glad I didn't do it for a lot of reasons but the biggest is he snitched on one of his little homies after they got busted for growing weed.

It's coming back. Mods are too personally invested into the site to ever give it up. The core team have been 4chan moderators for nigh on 2 decades. They do not know what to do with themselves if 4chan doesn't exist. It is their life in a very real sense. However much you miss it the mods miss it 10x more because it is their raison d'etre. Plus they make money off it, and I doubt they have stellar resumes for finding real work.

Jannies, though, might bail. They don't have as much skin in the game, and being a 4chan janitor was just a power trip for most of them not worth the heat now that they've been pwned. Good riddance.

Yeah Notch would be the perfect candidate, there's not a single better option. I would not trust Elon with 4chan at all. I generally think him buying Twitter is good but his shilling for Pissrael and poojeets is inexcusable, he'd ban people for le anti-semitism I think. 4chan should 100% rangeban those shithole countries too.

If Null (rightfully) hates vtumors, why did he allow them to have their own general thread here to form their own community on his own site? It was a mistake with Hiromoot created /vt/ instead of just purging the vtumor obsessed subhumans. Not that that even worked as a sufficiant containment method since they would still leak out and create their own stealth threads on other boards like /v/ (like created an "Elden ring thread" with some vtuber as the OP and then the entire thread is just them talking about their favorite oshi, and then jannies don't even delete the thread and let it hit bump limit). Much like the vtumors leak out from their general on this site into other threads.

I still can't believe there was an entire splinter board based solely around quoting people and attaching soyjaks. Everyone else accepts that part of the story and moves on. I think chan culture is not for me. Half of the things discussed in this thread make no sense to me and any research into it seems like a huge waste of time.
