Careercow Anthony Cumia - A once successful radio host crashes and burns, turning on all his fans and the drama around it

Stern completely ruined his legacy by embracing all the things he claimed he despised in the 80s and 90s. You then realize that was always an act. Him turning into a yenta caricature these last few years makes perfect sense in that lens now that he’s finally been accepted by the crowd that has a vacation home in the Hamptons.

At least we can say, sorta, that Opie & Anthony never sold out like that.

Jim sure as fuck did, the worm. I still can't believe he threw Louis CK under the bus the way that he did.

Tonight is the big night, it's Anthony's return to "patriotic" stand-up. They added two more people, so now you get to hear five people instead of three repeat the same jokes over and over. Hopefully Anthony has a few good impersonations.

Tickets start at $65

Location for tonight's show is yet to be announced.

Now, that's a name I've not heard in a long time. A long time.

Carl Spitale is a well known comic and like Anthony is also a very good impressionist. You can follow him on Twitter where you can become his 90th follower.

To be somewhat fair, Patton Oswald is basically Paul O and gets very upset when you point out that he killed his wife.

Outside of the Wack pack. Does anyone even like Howard Stern and his crew? I can’t stand the Howard stern show outside the Wack Pack stories and drama. Without his crew and wack pack. Howard stern is Jewish Greg Opie.
I'm a huge fan of much of what Sal and Richard Christie do, even though they have duds as well. Older, "legendary" Stern shit was good, but even by 2000, that was pretty much gone. Once he started talking about his therapy and his psychiatrist visits I tapped out.

America Strikes Back!!!…featuring a Canadian

McInnes actually earned American citizenship within the last few years.

I remember an episode of GOML a few years back where he talked about it being official, where he talked about how he purposely kept his application process private because he worried his enemies would try to intervene.

I believe he still has brother in Canada because I recall him returning home for a bachelor party or wedding last year for the first time in a long time. I was mildly surprised he posted about it publicly and he made the trip unscathed as Trudeau was in power at the time and personally made The Proud Boys a terrorist organization by legislation not that long ago.

His parents used to live in Canada as well, but now he talks about going to visit them in Florida. Not sure if they've emigrated completely or are just snowbirds.

If you listen to McInnes for any length of time, he likes to reminisce about his days founding Vice in Montreal in the 90s, but otherwise stopped considering himself Canadian when he moved to NYC to continue with his hipster magazine.

He did go back to Canada AFAIK to work for Rebel News / Ezra Levant in between being pushed out of Vice & his own marketing agency and founding Censored.tv like Cumia and Compound.

Gavin was actually at Rebel News during Lauren Southern's time there, because she has a #MeToo allegation against her that he offered her clout to sleep with him while he was already married to his Squaw wife.

McInnes though definitely identifies more with his distant Scottish ethnicity than his much more substantive formative years in Canada. IIRC, he was born in England but immigrated to Canada almost immediately. His very Scottish father was some sort of computer guy.

It's getting close to "patriotic" stand-up hour, and I've noticed that not a single person (Sam Tripoli, Josh Denny, Carl Spitale, or Anthony) are promoting this in any way on Twitter. Not a single tweet besides the ordinary racism

From what little I managed to find a while back, there's going to be a lot of "fun" and music. Sounds a lot like Club Piscopo. I hope there are dueling pianos at whatever unspecified venue they'll be at, maybe Anthony and Gavin can have a piano battle, or maybe Anthony can play the saxophone and do Clinton impressions. Joe Piscopo is Anthony's new co-worker at WABC anyways, maybe he could be the MC too while they're at it. The $65 tickets sound like they're worth it

I went to a double bill comedy show the other day for $5 at the door and $1 jello shooters.

The main card also did a pretty decent Slick Willy impression.

Apparently the Patriot Standup Hour is charging the extra $60 dollars for Cumia and McInnes' name recognition, two other comedians I've probably heard about it passing and a literally Who? fifth wheel.
