Shoplifting Tumblrinas

Well, they might start getting a little scared now, as one of them got arrested, made a post about it, and the post has over 10k notes calling them a piece of shit, and telling them they deserved it.

A couple people helped me compile a huge list of lifters a while back, and that seemed to put the fear into them (crying about their community being "attacked", and whatnot), but I'm sure many have changed names since, so listing their blogs isn't enough. Also, they're still trying to use the "we're just roleplaying" excuse. I think finding out who the big names are in the community, digging up their info, and creating a new account and blog to post it to could send them scattering like the cockroaches they are. Maybe dig up some IP addresses and post them alongside their blog urls. As was mentioned above, we ARE talking about criminals here, many of whom have committed felony larceny with the amount they've stolen.

In a sense, I wonder why being compiled in a list would bother them. They already identify themselves as shop lifters on the blogs and have special tags.

They like being in a "lifting community" and knowing who everyone else is and doing their totally-pretend-roleplay "haul" posts, but if someone from outside the community sees what they're doing (on a public forum) it's terrifying and invasive. So basically spoiled children all the way down, throwing a tantrum when anyone dares suggest that they shouldn't be stealing and bragging about it.

It being comparatively close-knit means it's pretty easy to find more of them once you've found one "liftblr", though. They help each other out with giveaways, as well as handy hints and reassurances that "DOXXING IS ILLEGAL". As opposed to, you know, stealing.

There's a post going around the lifting community warning about "traders". Sometimes two shoplifting tumblrinas swap goods that they've stolen, become "lifting penpals" or whatever. The post's warning is about scammers: people who take your hard-stolen wares and don't send anything back.

In short, the post is complaining that there are dishonest people within the shoplifting community who will steal from you. Those bitches.

God damn the irony. I mean seriously? Really? I'm almost ready to declare this a very subtle troll post that's gone over the heads of the entire community as it boggles my mind that anybody can be so painfully blinded by their own idiocy that they would publicly bitch about people stealing their stolen stuff: " IT IS ALL ONE BIG FAT & SICK ASS SCAM TO GET THE SCAMMER A BUNCH OF FREE PRODUCTS!" stands out as a favorite quote. Obviously nobody is entitled to free shit.. except.. unless it's lifters, but you can't... not from lifters by other lifters except... wait. My brain just hard reset what was I saying?

Thanks for this. That's what she fucking gets for stealing. $800 worth of stuff and even more before that? What are these kids thinking? "Help me guys! We committed a crime and were arrested! My actions have consequences, I'm being treated like an adult and I just don't know what to do???" Give me a break. I hope more of them get the cuffs.

Someone should call the police on these folks at let the police infiltrate + take them down. I mean, people look the other way if someone who's hungry steals food from them, but these are mostly spoiled semi-rich kids stealing luxury items. :( Where are their parents?! If most of us had tried this stuff, we wouldn't be able to sit down for a week! :'(
