A huge portion of them are what would be called "failed men". Being a woman seems special and magical, but being a man, there is simply no prospects.

pretty much. been hatewatching it for awhile and it falls into these categories:

female to male
1. sexual abuse victim looking to destroy their body to protect themselves
2. the coomer who is so brainrotted from gay male porn she wants to recreate her yaoi fantasies
3. bpd/npd wants attention
4. young girl going through her "not like other girls" phase, typically their limit is going by she/they and getting a haircut
5. lesbian/masculine presenting lesbian/or gender non-conforming woman made to feel like such an outlier by society that she thinks no interest in participating in gender stereotypes means she's actually a man
6. severely traumatized and trying to escape through changing her own identity (can fall under #1 but for girls/women not sexually abused)

male to female
1. porn addict
2. fail male who thinks his life will be easier as a "woman"
3. sexual predator who wants easy access to women and girls
4. another fail male who either has a crush on a woman who is unavailable to him (most commonly a lesbian) so he transitions to try and pressure these lesbian women into giving him what he is being denied
5. gay male raised in an anti-gay environment; transitions because he thinks he must be a woman if he's sexually attracted to men! also so his family doesn't kill him or cut him off
6. sexual abuse victim
most common is porn addict, followed by gay male raised in a homophobic household.

Number 5 doesn't seem correct, I have never seen a tranny who trooned because they were gay and that let them escape homophobia, external or internal. Usually its a gay bottom who is so faggy they attempt to be female for some reason because they have a submission fetish and body dysmorphia over looking old or "ugly" (masculine). These are probably the rarest, like 1% of trannies and transbians (trans lesbians) attempt to mimic them or pretend to be them to feel more "valid" or seem less predatory. Transbians sexualize these types of trannies for being "faeries" or "sissies" naturally which they get off on seeing themselves as, but aren't into men themselves so can't be them.

Blanchard got that part wrong, the AGP was pretty spot on but the HSTS is a bit outdated or incorrect imo. Its usually body dysmorphic gay bottoms trooning out because they're worried about getting old and "ugly" (masc). Its where the "hrt for looks" shit came from, gay bottoms trying to avoid "twink death" or developing body dysmorphia. Majority of people are fine with faggots existing now so there aren't many "homophobic spaces", the theory falls flat. Its unfortunate the transbians censored blanchard because he was really onto something

I for one don't care about the moral arguments against trannies. I literally do not care. I don't care about the children and when stories about "trans widows" are posted here I want to just fucking laugh at the idiots who thought that their big manly man was totally honest he just wanted to wear panties and get fucked with a strapon. I also want to laugh at them too, and have occasional sympathy when the stinkditch operation goes awry.

I do care about children being victimized but TBH I do agree that as sympathetic as I am for a lot of trans widows I get exasperated with their clear and obvious tolerance for obvious faggotry. And they go through all that for some balding dullard, just complete goobers. They always go on about them as if they were 10/10 chads but most of the time they're just like some random guy developing a beer gut. Totally not worth it.

I'm sorry fellow ladies but it's just true. I remember that one lady whose husband wore tights under his jeans to work and told her it was so his hair wouldn't get rubbed the wrong way...who would fucking belief that??? But at the same time you know that sort of naivety is exactly why they were picked by such a guy.

I think a decent percentage of mtfs are also narcs who do it for the social power it gives them, and/or because their sense of identity is inherently unstable. See: Philosophy Tube, IT'S MA'AM guy, Dylan Mulvaney, etc. Can't think of any more right now that I'm 100% certain have NPD, since many are subclinical narcissists who don't meet the diagnostic criteria, and it makes the T&H NPD havers harder to spot.

I also don't think the categories are mutually exclusive. There are gay men, narcs, and sexual predators who also happen to have a fetish for dressing as a woman.

This is the norm in Iran, where the government demands it and will execute faggots who do not comply. It happens elsewhere too, though maybe not as much as it once did thanks to the magical tranny movement we've seen these last few years.
