You know that USAID was funding mossad too, right? Losing USAID was a huge blow to whatever the fuck they were doing, but that doesn't matter because we'll have ASI within the next 18 months (we already have AGI, they're just not admitting it), so these programs were likely to be phased out anyway. If they do rewrite the code, I wonder if they'll continue to use raw PHP or use a framework for once. Any bets on whether it will be Symfony, Laravel, or something else entirely? As I mentioned before, I would love to see an open source 4chan, but I don't think it's going to happen.
