Making their jobs easier means they're less likely to miss what falls through the cracks. If known CP hashes get autobans (and are blocked from posting), someone doesn't have to report known CP and wait an hour and a half for the janny to notice there was a report.

I have this fear that there's only something really tiny between me and those people

like there was this guy once who took a prototype server that was used for development of some crazy shit and just gave it to his nextdoor neighbor's kid. Got his ass vanned when the kid put it on the internet to try to install linux on it or something and it phoned home. I think about that often. Like how the fuck do you do that. Obviously he didn't even think about it, he was like "this thing is cool, nobody's going to use it, might as well put it to use" or something. But totally doesn't notice it costs like twenty thousand dollars?

Or this guy who sits down and draws these bizarre, gross-ass lolicon images. It looks like that shitty cartoon code lyoko but drawn by a blind, deranged howler monkey.

What if you woke up one day and were still asleep, like sleep paralysis or something but just your brain, and you did something like that accidentally? That's a scarier thing to think about for me than The Fly or Kafka's Metamorphosis

Especially since that relies on three other people in these bot filled wastelands also reporting content as 'illegal in the United States'.
Depending on how low traffic the place is it can take like an hour to remove sometimes.

I Do like this idea, just because the idea of catching someone out and shitting on them would be funny.

My only issue is that it might actually make people trust the flag system to much, in reality any two bit retard can stand up their own VPS box and do MITMProxy to pump traffic out of whatever country they like. Secondly knowing gookmoot he would choose the cheapest fucking provider of IP location & info. For the question no one asked, ip2location is from my professional experience the best. Maxmind/Ipinfo don't really come close.

I was pretty shocked when I learned that ancient Babylonia doesn't just exist as some kinda historic Midgard, as an Atlantis-tier rumor, but is actually... Iraq. Like the Iraq war? That was about ancient artifacts, not about WMDs or oil or whatever.

it's not really schizo, its pretty well-founded. but I suspend disbelief in order to research shit and hear people out, because reddit's midwits aren't up to the task, while anons give no shits about social acceptance so they'll tell you what they really think (even its fucking retarded).

It'd help to mark all datacenter IP blocks as "VPN" preemptively. If it catches 90% it'll be a big win imo, and for the rest I suppose, if they're discovered later, a co-op with archives could be done to retroactively add "flagged as VPN at <datetime>". That kinda action would make reading the archives more attractive.
