General Wrestling Discussion

I imagine cena is going to come out on raw and say hes doing a part timer schedule, he wont be wrestling any raws or smack downs and wont be doing any B shows.
My favorite part of wrestling is the constant reminder that none of it is real, and it's not merely fake but also has to take backseat for any given wrestler's "real" aspirations like acting in a television show or going to Hollywood. These belts and title runs? They're just something Cena does on the side. His real focus is on playing a superhero.

In what world is a guy from tiny TNA getting a match in WrestleMania against a respectable and quality opponent and getting a massive stadium singing your song "getting buried"?
Randy all but squashed him. As a casual viewer I had no idea who he was and why I should care. (and I like old TNA) He got a couple of cheap shots on Randy when Randy under estimated him and then Randy squashed him with an RKO. Set him up and RKOed him again making him look like an idiot. The highlight was Randy ripping off his grinning gimmick and corpsing. It's nice the guy got on wrestlemania but the match was short and it made Randy look great while Hendry seemed like a low mid carder coming out for a comedy spot. It makes TNA look bad when they used to have champs like EC3 and Moose who would have given Randy a real match. It was like Attitude era Christian going up against The Rock. They're not in the same league and once Rock takes it seriously one finisher ends the match.

Yeetman being on top is weird considering yeet has fallen out of fashion with the kids. It makes WWE look really dated. But almost every 'over' star in WWE aren't over as a performer, it's almost entirely their theme that gets popular as a singalong. It's like if Austin was Whatman. How far can people shouting What from the crowd get you?

EC3 might be Disco inferno on steroids but he cut a good promo and wrestled well enough. Hendry looks like a comedy gimmick. I thought he was a joke act doing his gay spin and grin stuff.

Jay Uso is 39. He is not very good in the ring. He has an entrance, and that's it. He has none of the upside Roman had, and the people who watch the product are getting tired of his wrestling style. As I said earlier, yeetman has an expiration date.
Roman couldn't wrestle any more then Goldberg. He had very few moves and didn't do much with them. Roman had other people making him look good. Which isn't a problem, unless your champion for several years and everyone fucking hates you. And the only way you can get over is to get cancer so the fans feel sorry for booing cancerman.
How can you not know? Even filthy casuals like myself know who he is.
I can't stand modern TNA. I don't follow smarks on twitter. Why would I know what some bingo hall champ is? Last I heard of TNA they were burying men by giving women the world title and pushing trannies. It's no longer the B team where drug addicts 'retire'. It's a bland indie show with no audience.

I tried looking up Hendry on youtube. All I could find was WWE clips of his 4 minutes match with Orton. His intro video and him doing it with the hardies. No wrestling any where. So he's another theme song got over and he comes out to it 'star'? That's Seth, Becky, Yeetman, Cody. Who else is that way?

I can't even front, that finish was absolute dogshit. I've long been tired of the IWC dooming over minor lowpoints and hiccups, but this was legitimately bad no matter how you look at it and an undeniable stain on Cody's title run. Sacrificing all of the momentum in that match to ram Travis Scott into that spot absolutely ruined it. Celebrity features need to be smooth and unintrusive, whoever had the idea to do it this way should be flogged in the lobby of Titan Towers on the next PLE.

that means what,

Money in the bank
and
Summer slam

hell win at MitB against cody setting up whomever at summer slam, hell even do whatever saudi blood money event they have specifically because he just wants the money. between MitB and summer slam someone will attack Cena for trying to ruin wrestling, and he will be cashed in on, and finally he will do the thing ive been wondering why champions never do when cashed in on, he will immediately get himself disqualified thus losing the match but keeping the title.

hell then lose to whomever WWEs chosen babyface is at Summerslam,

im assuming there will be some kind of team rock vs team wwe for survivor series.
part timer schedules are good acually, tbqh and i wouldnt mind Cena doing it

Part time works well if you do material to play to keep them on the screen. If you want heel Cena to be a big deal have him make videos "From Hollywood". Shit talk the fans while sun bathing on a beach. Tell them they aren't worth turning up for since they will boo him any way. He's going to hang out with The Rock and his other Hollywood bros. Film a few of these to play on raw or smackdown. Then have an authority figure tell Cena he has to defend the title on a weekly show or a pay per view and Cena acts pissy. Turns up and completely destroys the opponent in a squash match. It's easy to write and all it requires is a beach and a coconut to drink out of.

Not even reddit liked this weird Travis Scott character. You can tell someone in the company has him on a little nepotistic leash. I wonder what jewish cock he has been sucking to get this career.

the last time i can remember a celeb interfered in a WWE match was between John Cena and Seth Rollins at SummerSlam 2015 when Jon Stewart of all people chair'd Cena.

it was as shit and lame as you think, is vince back on booking duty because what is this shit anyway?

Posting your own edits. That's a No Yeet from me, uce.
Nah, wasn't me - a friend sent me that one. I just figured with 4Chan down it was one of those tards, wanted to see if anyone would take credit

I mean, at least he knows how to kill a crowd? Probably not the way WWE intended though...

A lot of normies got put off him because of that Astroworld disaster and the subsequent worst "hopes and prayers" video ever made where he was rubbing his forehead for some reason.

the WWE top brass is full of out of touch retards who still live like we're in the 2010's and aren't aware that people dont fucking care about celebs anymore, because celebs = mainstream exposure???

He's not even a celebrity, at least on the same level as the bigger ones WWE use to use. What this really shows is that someone at Endeavor (the company that owns the WWE and UFC), pushed him into the spotlight as likely the deal of now being under the thumb of this company that has investment and connection to the music company that pushes this talentless gangbanger.

Scott is also a 90 pound jogger. He looks like a fucking crackhead, it reminds me of K-Fed going over Cena. Tyson is fucking Tyson. Paul is at least jacked up. Micky Rourke was a big guy, and Floyd Mayweather is Floyd fucking Mayweather. Scott isn't believable.
