One thing I do wonder about with all these tissues being moved around is positional signals.
Every cell in your body wants to kill itself. It needs constant signals from within and without to stay alive. ‘Hey! You’re a colon mucosal lining cell. You’re in a colon, stay alive buddy!’ (Other signals exist, and programmed cell death is called apoptosis.)
Cancer arises when cells lose multiple blocks to them just reproducing constantly amd moving around and one of those blocks in positional signals. A cell that gets sloughed off into a vein via injury should die. A cell on a basal membrane shouldn’t go across it or it will die. When cells lose the need for those signals they can metastasise and grow where they shouldn’t be.
I wonder what happens when you just move a whole tissue elsewhere. At very best things should stay as they are. But without the correct positional signals, you could get de differentiation. Or just ‘fuck, I shouldn’t be here, better pull the trigger.’

Doesn't dedifferentiation only naturally occur during epimorphosis?

Vaginoplasty with Dr. Kanhai (MK Velsen), 10 days after surgery​

On tuesday (8 april) I finally had my vaginoplasty and the first few days everything went well. Very little pain. My strength and mobility soon returned. It was swollen, but looked okay.

On Monday the catheter and tampons were removed and i tried dilution for the first time. I mamaged to insert all the lengths without problem and little pain.

Since tuesday there have been some worries though:

• Dilation is very difficult now. Even the smaller one is only going in with lots of pain a d trouble. I havent been able to insert the larger one (which went in very easily on monday) fully. Not even close (about 3 cm off). I feels as if i already lost a lot of depth. It bleeds alot when i try.
• When I pee it just sprays everywhere. I cant do it without having my bum and upper legs get wet. Everytime i feel like I should take a shower afterwards.
• At the top there is some white/gray loose flesh that looks very disgusting. Over all it looks a bit rough (which might be expected at this point) and i wouldn't mind a opinion

360 lipo, tummy-tuck and BBL. 5 months after: Still quite dissapointed​

Since the early days of my transition, my figure has been a very source of dysphoria for me. Despite the years on hormones, daily exercises and many non-invasive procedures it remained masculine. So I finally came to the conclusion that for me to be okay in my body i would need surgery to fix my figure.

In early november i went to dr mfo in Antalya for liposuction, tummy-tuck and lipofilling for hips and buttocks. Immediately after surgery i noticed that there was not much put into my buttocks, which remained flat. The surgeon, dr Okyay, said that there was surprisingly little fat in my stomach to harvest and thats why the bbl was more limited.

After a few months the fat in the hips als went away, despite me not losing weight. Meanwhile my stomach was not healing nicely. Now, after 5 months there is still loads of swelling, despite many massage.

After the first few months they advices me to gain weight. I did, but unfortunately all the fat went to the stomach and not to the hips or buttocks.

So now, I'm deep into debt and i hate my figure more than ever.

SRS 10 day ago swelling​

It's been 10 days since the surgery. Because of swelling, the perineum cannot be distinguished, and bowel movements are also difficult due to lower abdominal pain.

In addition, when you stand up and act, blood is concentrated in your lower abdomen, the pain persists, and you have extreme pain after urination. Is this simply a normal response after surgery?

And I wonder if my perineum is properly shaped because it's swollen now. I don't see a picture here that looks similar to my shape, so I'm nervous to think that it's no difference over time.

17 days post op SRS, Gyneka, Szymanowski, Poland​

I’m going to write more about my experience later - for now, I’m really pleased by how everything looks and heals. Not that it went without problems - my clitoris was scarring badly, but it is better now, and now that tissue on the right labia minora. I’m concerned with it - it looks like it’s not healing properly there. They gave me some antibiotic spray to deal with that, but still, that tissue looks weird. Well, I’ll see on the checkup appointment I guess. Left labia minora also concerns me, cause it’s swollen, as clearly visible on the photo.

Does any of you had something similar? Can that weird tissue just heal on its own, or will I need some surgical intervention to take care of that?

Here’s how we’re looking day 17.

The base is sore but can’t feel any pain on the shaft.

The neurotic tissue has now turned black on the tip within a day so to me that’s a good thing as now I can start using the honey dressings to break that tissue down.

Quite a nasty smell when the dressings come off cause I only change them after my shower once a day and they get really soaked in crap. I’m considering asking my nurse if I can change the honey dressings twice a day instead to try help with that.

Is my new injectable dosing enough?
