Happy Easter everybody. I've been busy and stuff, working on the holidays suck but it is what it is.
On an unexpected note, I have. Wanted to take some time and do some art for fun and going back to the SINS.
This time it's
Belphegor/Sloth.
Really wanted to play with this one as she doesn't really have a full reference/voice. Nor do we know about her character other than she sleeps and that she has drugs? Basic.
Original
Didn't like her eyelashes being so linear really confusing for her silhouette.
The eyes are really confusing to me on. Her neck.
Her colors/dresses simular to every other woman.
Doesn't give me a psychic because of her clothes.
Her horns really make it harder to read.
Redesign
Changed color scheme to give more of a pastel/ dreamy feel.
Added more sunken in and drooping to the form
Made her candle bigger melting over her eyes.
Gave her more fortune teller clothes, stuff that drapes and gives a mystical look.
Her hair is made of "daydreams" fluffy and cloud like. They glow at night becoming "nightmares"
She only has one horn making her look more like moon.
Her body is stretchy and made out of wax, when she moves her hips slowly gyrates like a belly dancer. She leaves a snail trail with her wax.
Story wise
She is an oracle, she sees fortunes/futures, reads minds and everything. But has become bored of this ability.
As nothing is exciting when you know everything and everyone's destiny's.
She's blind as the wax melted over her eyes. Also playing with the line "just because you have eyes doesn't mean you always see".
This almost lathergic careless attitude adds to her "lazy" personality and her motivation to do anything if destinys can't change. What's the point in trying.
Sinners go to her giving parts of their soul to fuel her wick. Asking about their future holds in the afterlife/ trying to be sent on earth through sleep and possession.
Her demons would also be made of wax/ be very doll like. She helped make Charlie for Lucifer and Lilith. All of her creations lack "souls".
She knows of when the book is stolen from Stolas. But something peculiar happens, the futures of the imps/sins/demons everyone's is unseen even to her.
She doesn't know what the outcome is, and this is what awakens this longing mystery she's craved.
She's driven by all the possible outcomes that could ever happen, good/bad it doesn't matter to her. It's the thrill of the unknowingly.
This one is a bit harder as it's another nothing character, with nothing going on besides the design. So I had alot of fun with this one.
As always
