It is all very autistic, but the evidence gathered does make some good points, only all those things could be way in the past if people would stop making a big deal out of it and Billy stopped trying to silence people talking about these cheating allegations with lawsuits.

Ironically, in Karl's quest to be the one to take down Billy, he's effectively made Billy untouchable. The whole saga is over, the only people left giving a flying fuck about the "cheating" is Karl, his dents, and the crazy stalkers like Ersatz.

That's too generous to the Billy haters. The claim they make is that Billy Mitchell is a "fraud" and basically his 40+ years of game scores are a gigantic hoax, akin to 10,000 different hoax moon landings.

I don't even consider playing on emulators "cheating", just a rules violation. But whatever. None of his peers or competitors ever had their games scrutinized to 1/1,000,000th the degree Billy's were. If they were, it's a safe bet that many of them were doing the same thing.

It is more probable that the original joystick got broken and was replaced by a red one with the same functionality. It is even possible to introduce diagonal inputs in the original Donkey Kong? You should probably need to program the game for that, and if the code was written for a 4-way joystick, why would it even accept diagonal inputs?

It doesn’t accept diagonal inputs, it accepts both directions at a rate faster than you humanly could input them. It genuinely affects the game when it comes to a relatively obscure mechanic called barrel steering, where you can influence where the barrels are dropped. It’s been autistically confirmed that the one used is identical with a modern eight-way. Whether he used the mechanic or not, it definitely was not actual legit hardware, yet again it doesn’t actually matter because he got it on legit hardware anyway three years later, so accidentally “cheating” one time isn’t actually important.

I believe the issue is the original machine makes you reset to a neutral position before changing direction and an 8-way stick would allow you to change directions much faster.

I watched a total of two videos made by LUS, had no interaction with them as I found them to be extremely mundane, yet now this spastic homo's community posts keep popping up on my YouTube feed.
