DSP trying to abandon gaming has flopped every time he's tried it. ReAck content? Banned. DSPolitics? Banned. DSP Throwback? Banned. Kino Casino? Banned. Smark sguys? Effectively dead. DSP smells it? Stillborn. The only non gaming content DSP space Gaming can do is where he stuffs his fat face on camera, and that's only entertaining due to the faces he makes when he eats, like he's some scavenger predator feasting on roadkill before something bigger can eat him.

DSP's content is so profusely fucking stupid, bizarre and diverse in range that when I read your post and saw "DSP smells it" I thought you were making a joke about DSP tries it until I remembered that literally only a week ago he tried to pitch the idea of sampling colognes as a paid reward to his viewers.

You forget that blowing bubbles and spinning the chair are also banned, and that he is not a children's entertainer.

It's so fucking bizarre when you take a step back and consider that this whole enterprise has "successfully" brought in $100k+ a year for like a fucking decade. When you list out the dumb shit he tries to sell as "content" its just unbelievable that this shit show has gone on for this fucking long. There are daytime TV soap operas in Ecuador that have been around for 28 years at this point that are less creatively bankrupt than DSP is.

And then the other layer sets in, this guy is allegedly a video game streamer... so 90% of what he has done online is just playing games that other people made in the first place and he just adds in shit like this from time to time:

And then if you take another step back you realize there's an entire cottage industry of restreamers and edit channels based upon this shit show, as well as this entire subforum.

I still cannot believe his decline in live viewers. He is legitimately struggling to get 200 viewers now with Ethan Ralph on stream. I think it is a cross-contamination of PWR and re-streamers chipping away. I have to admit, as of the last few weeks, even his restreams have been mentally checked out.

Its getting wild. I hesitate to call him boring. Because god knows in the next twenty-four hours he will say at least four to five completely unhinged sentences. But like man he makes it hard to care. All he says is unhinged shit. And well

He doesn't even have those unironically funny commentary these days, every single non-fighting game gaming stream he has is either him fighting his viewers, him claiming how mich he has "changed for the better" or him begging for money.

At this point I am not suprised that his standard stream behavior nowadays is the exact same way he interacted with Howard and John Rambo a decade ago.

This. I think he, and even the detractors misunderstand how important gaming is to his content. If he isn't pighoofing and screaming death threats at some code monkey, it isn't really Phil. And there is just better drama to watch if he isnt providing that.

Yes but did you consider that if you imagine you own a small rinky dinky sandwhich shop and you get a bunch of customers but then a big chain of McDonald's restuarants open across from you and they all go there instead and the only customers the original sandwhich shop gets is the people who actually liked the owners?

Although PWR genuinely made a dent in Phil’s viewership, I doubt it affected his bottom line. It’s the last third of the month and his supporters have already depleted their SSI checks, it’s always the same song and dance around this time.

Come early May, he’ll be hitting the stream goals again.

I check in and the 43 year old man is wearing a stone cold Steve Austin T-shirt, sat alone in his office, talking about wrestling like it’s real and opening wrestling trading cards. Jesus fucking Christ he’s a mess. We’re just used to him. Is this what his 60’s look like?

As an aside I know people in their 30’s who like wrestling but they’re cool about it. Watch it if it’s on, laugh when it’s shit and certainly don’t wear John Cena t-shirts. It’s what tends to happen when you grow up, you get other priorities. Unless you spend your days locked away alone.

It's not really a "might"---he WAS their whipping boy for 8 months and he DID make a lot more money.

Hell, even ones that actually stop drinking do irreparable damage if they drink like Phil for more than a few years. He also drops unintentional hits all the time about the state of his health, like that he gets winded walking to the mail box. Can you imagine that shit?

I hear you, but people like Phil are like cockroaches. Like Chantal or deathfats that should be dead but somehow kep on living. You're right phil gets less than 0 excercise and then in his 20's called carrying groceries a workout, going up 1 or 2 steps while holding milk too hard, etc. On top of having microwave pzzas as a midnight snack, eating fast food probably every day if not several times a day. We'll see how long it takes for him to start bleeding from his esophagus from his heavy drinking but until then I think he's going to be like a cockroach and just survive everything for no reason.
