Doing it legit, on a large scale, it's hard, as you need to grant a bot the "Server Members" intent.
If you do a bot for a few servers, or you use a selfbot (connect to the API using a user's token), you have no such limitation though.
It would be trivial to make a discord bot that can be deployed by any random retard, which would download the database and actively ban people.
The issue would be for data collection, selfbots are pretty much the only option at the scale needed here, and that would be a massive slog: sharing IPs between accounts makes discord require phone verification/id verification (and you can only use one number per account), and if it makes enough noise (like spy.pet) discord will try to hunt down the selfbots.

The programmer for Ro-Cleaner just finished a new moderation bot that doesn't use any database. Instead, it lets you import your own database from a github url. This way, it's impossible for Discord to accuse us of profiling anyone or improperly handling user data. Server owners can create their own ban lists and share them with each other to sync bans across communities. We're calling it Pro-Cleaner.

I'm genuinely proud of you and your colleagues for continuing to work on this despite Discord's obvious efforts to protect these filthy perverts. Not enough people have thanked you for this, so please accept my sincerest gratitude for your efforts.
Incidentally this is the kind of thing that makes me proud of the actual hacker community (real hackers, not script kiddies). Clever people will always win "arms races" between themselves and private entities desperate to stop things like this, "content scraping" (e.g. Youtube) and other nefarious shit.

This is amazing work you're doing, Ruben. Despite the issues that have flared up recently you managed to find a workaround both after being sued by ROBLOX and having your bot taken down by Discord. Incredible.

It really bothers me that basically nothing else is being done to even stifle this problem. Feels like there should be a class action on this issue, if not actual legislation. And I don't buy the excuse that it's hard to explain the problem to boomer parents. "There's a lot of child predators using social media sites for children to creep on your kids and the management doesn't ban them." There I explained the entire issue in one sentence.
There's going to be an apocalyptic epidemic of mental disease especially in men over the next ten years, to speak nothing of what we've already seen occurring over the previous decade with our own waking eyes, with regards to all the troons in the pornsick child -> suicidal troon pipeline. One way or another this shit has to be stomped on, and it's only a question of how many victims the problem claims before people actually hurt enough to do something about it.

I don't know if it's a good thing or a bad thing that a lot of them are banned. I guess it's bad because we can't keep track of these people. They will go to a lot of lengths to hide their identity, create new accounts, and continue to prey on kids. I'm so glad people are going to the lengths like this to hound out as many of these freaks as possible.
Some of the worst cases that did get caught had a whole bunch of accounts, doing this for years, had a weird thing around extorting minors and they only got caught because of them being huge retards. The smart ones are the ones that need to be stopped and exposed. Again, this is a great step. Fuck being nice to these big companies that run cover for these degenerate freaks, continue exposing everyone.
