IIRC she has mentioned several times that mental illness flows in her family, both in her mother and maternal grandmother. I am almost certain that I heard a stream where she mentioned her grandma being a schiz as well, though I might be misremembering. Also, keep in mind that she was the result of a teenage pregnancy, which certainly does not bode well for the maturity situation in the family. The shrink in me wants to say that the whole submissive loli pedobait act she's got going might be cause she's the fucked up kid of a mentally ill child mother, but that's neither here nor there.
Even in bongland, this should be a pretty cut and dry medical malpractice suit, no? I know of far less "developed" countries that practically lynch their shrinks for not having orderlies check up on high risk patients every hour, much less sending them home without proper treatment, even if the hospital is overflowing with muds.

In all technicality they did give her medications to help her cope. But fix the actual problem? It doesn't seem so. Frankly though, these are the type of things I've heard of the NHS. Good at short term immediate care. Bad at long term care. And given the state religion is practically the NHS, I would doubt it goes anywhere unless she gets very, very lucky with a sympathetic judge.
It's perfectly possible to make a malpractice claim against the NHS, it is just typically a fairly long and arduous process. It happens more often than you might think and if it can be argued that the doctor didn't correctly follow guidelines, or in a more grandiose sense that the guidelines themselves are wrong, a legal case wouldn't be out of the question.

Truth be told she does have a pretty good tearjerker story to tell. Teenage pregnancy child, has to live with her mother fucking around all the time, likely abused either first hand or had to witness abuse of her little sister by one of the men her mother brought home, struggles with significant mental illness AND had a very sudden death in the family that has left her as the primary breadwinner (assuming grandma and co.'s input is peanuts). You can even sprinkle in her recent phonebooking as an itty bitty cherry on top, calling it 'emotional trauma' or some such. It is difficult to not have sympathy for someone that has been through all that, regardless of her "tastes".

After what happened with Uruha Rushia there is no way Hololive would let someone with severe mental illness into the company. Shondo isn't fit for a corpo at all. She's way to comfortable blabbing about her personal life and companies won't like that.

Unless I'm misremembering I remember her saying it was her teenage sister who was being violent and doing poorly in school. She mentioned it being an issue because her sister is 5'8 and can overpower everyone in the house. That would be too tall for it to be her 9 year old sister.

According to this article, the average age range of schizophrenia is between 16 and 30.
Except that she is a diagnosed schizophrenic that has been showing symptoms & getting heavily medicated for at least a few years. Childhood schizophrenia is a very grim, albeit thankfully rare, reality. There also seems to be a correlation between child sexual abuse and schizophrenia (being 1.5x as common among csa survivors than genpop). Judging by her sister's harsh reaction to the prospect of living with her father, and my earlier point about loli-as-a-cope, I don't think its too crazy to theorize in this direction. Having two parents with diagnosed schizophrenia seems like a fitting nail for the coffin.
