I'm sure no defence lawyer would ever dream of using a know-nothing loser like Nick when real experts are ten a penny on these issues.

Now is it really plausible that Nick didn't sing like a fucking canary, first chance he got? And no, it's not plausible that they didn't ask. He was arrested with an ounce of coke. His supplier wasn't the guy selling dime bags to cover his own supply. He'd have to be a kilo level buyer at least. Law enforcement kill for a shot at those guys.

Of course, Nick might have been way too scared to snitch. In my experience though, people like Rekieta just can't keep their traps shut. He was probably giving up info just to show off the dealers he knew in the area.

Police would require a warrant for his phone to access it. It is possible they procured one and there is another investigation without charges filed in which that is relevant, for example against a dealer, but at this time I have no seen anything that would hint at them ever being legally allowed to search his phone.

I also highly doubt they never asked about the source of the drugs.
I'd love to see Nick's interviews, he keeps lying about so many things that only direct sunlight can erase the doubts of the public.
