Why don't they add vehicles in the Extractslop

Why don't they add vehicles in the Extractslop games?
That would be an actually good idea. If they want to limit mobility during gunfights they could just make vehicles a thing. But I am sure some retard at Bungie probably vetoed that idea for similar stupid reason to why their pvpve game doesn't have proximity chat.

How do you feel about the current maps you’ve played?
Small, easy to get ambushed at any time. If you get spotted by the AI, you might as well prepare for PvP encounter.
Unfinished textures everywhere, even those finished are copy-pasted to every building, making exploration boring.
Overall, not pleasant to play.

I know one of the maps on launch is the Marathon itself and I'm curious how big it will be. From my limited knowledge of extraction shooters, they seem to be more inclined towards open wilderness areas. If they made the ship a claustrophobic labyrinth similar to something like System Shock, I might find that more entertaining.

I think it would be more appealing to me if the goal of the game was to dungeon crawl deeper into the ship and not solely to power up for PvP. You would be fighting to extract keys to new areas, special weapons that are made to kill PvE enemies guarding a secret, narrative items that give you a chance to fight a powerful boss or have some kind of event happen. It would motivate me more to keep playing in the event I lost everything if the allure was that there was more to explore and uncover.

Marauders was based around CQC in tight corridors in space stations and boarding really small space vessels, with a not so low TTK. It was actually pretty fun, but I don't expect them to do that considering the trailer and that their base is Apex.

Its baked into Marauders. It probably contributed to the death of it. People who play extraction games just don't want fun.
some do, but the majority likes winning more (or rather hate losing), so you get an awful infestation of cheaters sucking all the fun out of it. I highly doubt bunghole will be able to curb that when better and smarter studios tried and failed.

I had this mindset for awhile but I understand why Respawn made the choices they did. TF2 was sensory overload for normies and as tryhards got good they couldn't help but gatekeep new players so the game just bled out. Apex dialed everything back so average players could actually enjoy the game giving Respawn a consistent paycheck. I love TF2s skill expression and movement but I'd rug pull all the speed autists too if it means having a more stable career.
you mean the moba mechs and 3-lane maps, on top of all the shit they added? respawn was fucking retarded when it came to TF2, TF1 was almost perfect, all it needed was more content - not smearing more shit onto it. their changes literally made everything worse you mentioned, which was literally the opposite of what they wanted to do. remember that battery shit and the scripted cutscene so any titan knew exactly when to kill you? that's because TF1 matches became too "titan heavy with one team dominating" - no shit. but how are any of those retarded changes supposed to curb that inevitable match progression?

Destiny 1 and 2 had decent anti cheat but Bungie always banned cheaters in large waves to try and prevent hackers from figuring out what tagged them for a ban, so blatant hacks would have free rein to torment everyone for weeks. I can imagine Marathon having a real money trading problem from this ban philosophy.

There were two major periods in Destiny 2 where everything felt unplayable. The first I can recall was when the game initially went "free to play" making ban evasion super easy. The other which went on for a few years was when a mass amount of players got Xim adapters to get controller aim assist on M&K and Bungie wouldn't blanket ban them because the cheaters argued it was for accessibility.

I know this is a closed alpha but the numbers I've been seeing haven't been impressive at all.

It peaked at around 7k players and currently has around 1k players on a Saturday afternoon:

It has dropped to around 15k viewers on Twitch:

It seems to have been cucked by the Oblivion remaster and Expedition 33.

We'll see how it does when they open it up but yeah ain't looking great so far.
