Either jannies can't keep up with everything or they're letting this /v/ thread go so some steam is let off.

The fact that they’ve been protecting themselves from any scrutiny for more than 12 hours now, for fucking FREE no less is hilarious. I hope they lose sleep and lose significant time from their life expectancy for it.

Jannies have invented a new way of banning users. It's a shadow ban where whenever the timer that forces you to wait before you post runs out, it immediately resets instead of allowing you to verify.

Used a separate IP and didn't run into the issue at all. However, whenever I use the IP that encountered the issue, no matter the device it happens.

I knew the place had been shit for years but it still took the website going down completely for nearly two weeks, the jannies being exposed (or more like confirmed) for what they are and seeing the quality of the alternatives for the scales to truly fall from my eyes. Nobody in any kind of authoritative position on that website cares about it's quality, like that blogpost probably wasn't even written by the slanty-eyed conman who "runs" the site; his concern with 4chan begins and ends with it being a passive source of income for him while the baka gaijin he put in charge of it in his stead run it into the ground with their social engineering experiments.

How did /g/ end up the way it is?
The /g/ janitors have been particularly terrible, always asleep at the wheel which allows gooners to spam their shit everywhere with the typical "What technology does she use?". The parts that do talk about technology are reduced to idiotic flame wars about what phone is better or not, as if they are luxurious purses. While I truly don't hate ai, the ai threads aren't helping things as they are full of gooners.

They turned half of their community against them. Lots of anons who probably would have been content to post about video games/cooking/fitness/pocket watches/pink garden gnomes/extremely niche topic here/etc if not for janny faggotry are settled outside of 4chan or actively shitting up the site as we speak.

My sole interest in 4chan in the 2020s was for a niche general that jannies allowed niggers to spam relentlessly but 3-dayed anyone who reported the spam. Sitting in 8moe enjoying the peace. Get fucked jannies, YWNBAW
>Null makes a website for a purpose
>Caters to users who use it for that purpose

It's amazing how many forums can't seem to manage this very simple business strategy.

Wait, the 3 Jays. Jews, Jeets, Japs.
First Japan, then India, and later in the far future Israel will get hit by a massive and deserved NVKE.
you know, I can't rightly take you seriously. Like I know many good white hispanics, but your avatar ties them all back to being brown like that old meme, so I lose my ability to take you seriously again.

Like it's a weird juxtaposition saying that you wanna both please anglos and indios. What are you about for real though? Speak latin and break out of pleasing either.

It's the idea of "community". You think of people as people instead of people as subject matter experts to the topic at hand, you'll start making features to attract the people in themselves.

A dogma of mine is that offtopic sections are how you fuck up a website. Keeping strict topic centrality is how you maintain a most useful forum. This breaks down only when you have a loose topic that's hard to circumscribe with topical delimiters.

EDIT: it's autistic sounding because you have to fix a community to squeeze out the most autisitc elements, or else you'll be overrun by autismos. You have to force the community to only be useful to subject matter experts, so that only they post. Otherwise, you get communities overrrun by autists and trannies.
