If everyone likes the same games, the world would be boring.
But if a certain group of Tropers (hint: all of them) insists that it's an objectively good game, or the "bestest thang evah ™️ ", that's where we have to draw a solid line. It is not, nor will it ever, be a good game to those who have played and enjoyed L4D, which still manages to hold up after all these years, or any Valve game for that matter because the company actually knows what it's doing with Newell at the helm. Yeah, the game plays competently, if you completely ignore the lore and story for the retardation it actually is. All because of Cuckmann's fetish of being nailed by a himbo womxn in his rose hole.

True enough. You do have a good point there.

Why can't Tropers just admit they are into slash and femmeslash already? It's creepy how they latch onto LGBTXXX media like seagulls to stinking harbor trash, no matter how crappy and creepy the media is.

Apparently, they aren't supposed to give a shit about an creator's political opinions on the wiki. But we all know what really goes on
Gotta love how they cut Kirsche's page because she mostly discusses conservative politics, so it doesn't count as being separate from her character, but Bao's page consisting of nothing but her being a literal, clinically diagnosed whore who wants to fuck wolves is totally cool.

Here is an old tale from the CM thread. They decided a certain Disney villain making people sad with magic is worse than Stalin, while brushing aside several glaringly obvious expiating factors to his character. Another user carefully refutes why this is stupid with a well-constructed argument. The thread people respond by plugging their ears and mindlessly down-voting it like lemmings so their precious Gisnep can let them feel mature.

There are some who point out that with a few changes, King Magnifico could be an outright good guy.

There are examples out there that show how shockingly easy this is to do.

Magnifico afaik is actually bad enough to count, especially because his "making people sad" magic is taken much more seriously than it sounds the narrative plays it completely straight. It would had been even more obvious if the movie wasn't that bad.

The ones you should be pointing out is the Metapocalypse guy and Aku. The Metalpocalypse guy especially pissed me off because it meant that people will put serious enough Simpson villains in and I think him passing (despite I protested outnumbered mind you) inspired another guy trying to put a Rick and Morty villain in right after (which was shot down on contact by the way). Aku should never be there in the first place, he's one of those odd villains that are played seriously in one episode but a total goofball on some others (kinda like Him in the Powerpuff Girls) and I think he only got in because every person who would otherwise vote no are driven off site.

Still love what they posted in the YMMV page for the TTYD remake.

I'll still never get over retards justifying this shit lol. In the original Japanese version Vivian is just a guy who crossdresses as a woman, the character was never trans despite what they say about 'fans of the original Japanese translation'. Japan afaik has had a weird view on crossdressing stuff where they just consider it more of a weird hobby that people eventually grow out of and even have entire bars and venues and shit set aside for it. It's not really about gender or shock value for them, it's viewed as slightly weirder cosplay. In an ironic way people demanding that Vivian be trans is actually removing crossdressing representation, cause trannies are the LBTQ whatever darlings I guess.

I could have sworn when someone translated the original Japanese as best they could they said that Beldam's insulting of Vivian is that 'she' isn't passing well enough and that Vivian could have at least shaved before dressing up as one of the shadow 'sisters' lol.

Edit: I guarantee that trans accordion tweet they mention as having 'blown up' only blew up in the tranny twitter communities and was largely ignored by anyone else.

I thought Vivian was a woman that Beldam misgengered in the Japanese version as a sign of disrespect.
I don't believe so... but it has been a while since I even thought of paper mario. Nintendo I think had official comics referencing that Vivian has like 5 o clock shadow and stuff like that so I think the implication in original Japanese is that Vivian is a crossdresser, or was possibly forced to crossdress idk.

Can you find those comics?

I don't think Vivian's even really a crossgender, I mean they're shadow people who only wear witch hats anyway. From what I remember reading of the Japanese script, he's just an incidental trap who looks up to his older sisters but gets bullied by them, with it being a joke that he looks cuter and more feminine than them despite being a boy. There's no real suggestion in the original that he has gender identity issues except referring to their group as the Shadow Sisters (カゲ三姉妹), which annoys his older sister who angrily corrects that they're just the Shadow Trio (カゲ三人組) because he's a boy.

The Switch remake throws a bone to the retards insisting Vivian is a tranny by rewriting and adding some dialogue to have Vivian say he like to think of himself as their younger sister rather than their younger brother, and giving this short speech about how he's a boy but he's a girl at heart (which is kind of a vague phrase since it's used just as often to describe femmy gay guys as it is to describe outright trannies). If I recall correctly, the English Switch version further alters things to remove any outright mention of him being a boy while keeping anything that implies he's trans, but Westerns trannies are so delusional they won't even admit the basic fact their physical body is male which Japanese trannies will admit.

Aku is generally treated as a threat in the narrative's grander scope, despite a proportionally small handful of goofy moments. That he was kept off for so long over being made of evil, specifically, is stupid. Does pure water not count as water because it can't be anything else? Any sapient creature has automatic "moral agency" per definition. Magnifico's point is more that someone so controversial most viewers don't even interpret him as a villain, should not be haphazardly slapped with a pure evil beyond redemption label.
