I think they took it down accuse its whole crux was explaining what I am to you know and about why this was important because it days to send high quality photos from the ISS, only a few hundred miles up, to the ground and back again. Reason they need this is beacuse even the tinest of holes in a spacesuit can be deadly so they need to take lots of high quality photos of the suit but epseically the hands to send to special super computer on earth to scam them in ways the human eye cant to pick up micro defects that can be addressed before they cause an in space emergency.

Because they might not be targeting for max initial casualties, but you take out all the ports and other transportation hubs...well, how many people are self-sufficient? There's your number of survivors. Safe to assume that even if major civilizations survive in any way in bunkers or whatever, they have zero state capacity to actually take care of the people in their former territory.
