Raven has already changed so much since the before-times that he's unrecognizable as the same character as his XX-era story mode incarnation. The entire Guilty Gear world changed drastically between XX and Xrd. I'm not even sure Overture was that much of a departure from XX as Xrd was. Maybe dude changed his mind or just forgot, and then at some point decided that the origin story for it all was essentially the Resident Evil movie.

I won’t lie, I could never play competitively until Strive. AC+ was my favorite game as a kid, but I only ever got good enough to trash my friends when they’d come over to play PS2.

Could be fun. If trannies decided to claim the scenes for themselves I don't see why Kiwis shouldn't have their own, what's there to lose at this point? There are probably plenty of players here you all can network with. At the end of the day a handful is all you need. I spent too many years trying to fit in with people I couldn't stand for a game I was avoiding playing.

I'm stealing this idea from reddit/r/kappachino, they host weekly lobbies for random games like Blazblue and Accent Core, and it works pretty well.

In the end, all you need is 1 other player to play a fighting game, that's one of the best thing about the genre.

Yeah you just make an alt steam account, use family share on it, and you can play almost every online game on it without issues. The only thing is that you can't add people on steam without spending 5$ on an account, but you can play just fine.

I know little about Guilty Gear other than a anime is airing rn. I do know about Bridget from a 1d4chan story about this turbo NEET named Luke, who drew Bridget porn in his cum stained notebook. That tale was from the early 2000s.

Manga is only huge in the west because it easily filled in a power vacuum roughly the same time comics/western graphic novels collapsed due to shoving in woke identity politics and feminist ideology in front of telling good stories, taking advantage of that really was a very good move on their part.

If mangakas want their industry to remain prominent outside their home country, they should continue with stories that resonate with their target audience instead of trying to market to 0.05% of all comic readers. I know that the thread is about the GG character but actions like said japanese writers enabling the troons by bowing down to their headcanon pretty much are signaling the potential start of such a decline, since they'll only start pressuring for more and more of that like they did with western graphic novels.
