No it's because it's insane to let a person who claims to be deaf and blind* and requires continuous oxygen and NG feeds to graduate and be a doctor.I am willing to bet she was kicked off due to her weight. She likely has a badly concealed eating disorder. I know of at least 2 other people who have been unceremoniously booted from medicine-related degrees for this. It would be much harder to kick her out for other reasons.
Bingo. And I get it. A high stress corpo job and kids is enough to burn anyone out. You get sick and suddenly fucking hell you can lie down and someone else is dealing with it all. It has to be very tempting to just carry on - I bet some don’t even do it deliberately, they somatise their own exhaustion and stress into a vague litany of disorders and then the internet amplifies itMy theory is that Talia was experiencing caregiver fatigue from her husband/ burnout from a high-stress corporate job and being a mom.
Fite a gramma 1v1 and get back to me on this. They have claws.but it's not very likely that an 87 year old woman is going to cause much chaos, the impact of the antibiotics often makes them too tired to do anything except sit in a chair anyway.
Two things stuck out:Lol beat me to it, I was embedding links into mine as you posted. I also keep an index to reference when I'm writing the Christmas updates. Also because I like to get drunk and read them and critique them and convince myself the next one will be good. Then I add the next one to the index and get drunk and critique it until I hate that one too. Certainly I will not hate the one I am currently working on two minutes after I post it. (You guys should see the hilarious number of them that I wrote and never published because I hated it before I was even done uploading it.)
I was also going to just quietly memoryhole a whole lot of those old ones because they make me want to do shots of cyanide instead of affordable Polish vodka
2019 me had no idea how true this was.

1) LMAOOO I was sober back then. For real, that's the answer. Like rehab, AA meeting sober and angrier than a kicked hornet's nest about it so I baited people into fights. Not just online, real life too. Then I went to a wedding with an open bar. Problem solved, problem stayed solved. I still talk to reddit people pretty much every day. I'm just nicer and funnier now because I'm almost always at least a little drunk. Two things stuck out:
1. You became a much happier shitposter after you stopped trying to talk to anyone on reddit.
2. It's really, really hard to do pithy descriptions of these people. At first I tried to put a couple words to explain diagnosis/issues, but after a string of probably ten "POTS/EDS/gastroparesis/CFHS service dog user in Florida" I gave up.
What's your vodka of choice? I will drink Tito's in your honour.
Takkkk kurrrwaaaa, finally positive polish representationSobieski in the big plastic bottle is my Affordable Polish Vodka of choice.
And how butthurt they get over people potentially being even slightly interested in their dog (probably because it has a massive vest full of stickers). They get so, so angry that they post multiple rants about it. I've never seen a genuine guide dog user be that upsetMy suspicions on whether someone with a service dog is a munchie or not directly correlates with how often they post about their dog on social media.
Sobieski is technically available here, but the alcohol taxes are so high that there’s maybe $5 difference between that and Tito’s, so I’ve only had Sobieski back east. Iirc it tastes like floor cleaner, but whatever, vodka is vodka.Sobieski in the big plastic bottle is my Affordable Polish Vodka of choice. Everyone raves about how good Tito's tastes, but I like my vodka to taste of nothing but the shame of waking up on your living room floor again. (And I drink it room temperature and chase it with tap water.)
Post history seems to be to various chronic illness subs popular with malingerers (cptsd, gastroparesis, pots, cfs) and r/transmac so also probably a TIF
Does anyone know if peptide shots actually do anything? It seems kind of extreme to me. Like people who dose up on caffeine pills to try to simulate adderall. They try to use peptide shots to simulate steroids or somethingWestern medicine” treatments such as NAET (Nambudripad's Allergy Elimination Technique)-- a form of alternative medicine that aims to eliminate allergies through a combination of kinesiology, acupressure, and acupuncture. As well as radio frequency wave treatment, peptide shots, etc.
Saying you got a treatment because it contains peptides is like saying that you read a book because it contains words. It’s the most general term imaginable.Does anyone know if peptide shots actually do anything? It seems kind of extreme to me. Like people who dose up on caffeine pills to try to simulate adderall. Boring. Last I checked she was still sporting a nose hose but mostly staying out of hospital.Tina Dao is a blast from the past! Haven’t heard much about her lately, did she finally stop munching or did she just get boring?
I know two people who take them for different reasons. One gets injections in his wrist from a doctor every few years to help with joint lubrication (I think) following a car accident from years ago. The other person self-injects every other day to help with a repeatedly torn miniscus injury. I have the impression it helps with recovery and health specifically of your joints, ligaments, tendons, etcDoes anyone know if peptide shots actually do anything? It seems kind of extreme to me.
