Tabletop Roleplaying Games (D&D, Pathfinder, CoC, ETC.)

Sometimes you just need to tell a player it isn't working and stop inviting them.
If he's blaming his mental health.... if the guy with Asthma is sitting and wheezing, you leave him on the bench and keep hiking up the mountain.
You play RPGs. You're autistic. Well whoop de fucking do, welcome to the club.

Instead of going for Arcanum these players seem to be more of a Skyrim player base.
They are complete retards but this is their first ever "real campaign" for a few of them and I intend to give them an experience so intense, so complicated, so in-depth, so demanding that they are never able to enjoy the silly fucking Reddit 5e style of running a game. The kinds of games with fake stakes, with no risk of failure, with combat that's easy and boring, and with expectations that are below the dirt. I want to deliver an experience they'll never forget, and that can only be done if I press them in certain directions with certain methods.
If they HAD been able to defeat those enemies, they would have actually had LESS fun.

I'm leaving out a possibly bigger problem.
So remove the retard from your game. They aren't participating and clearly don't want to be there, why let this idiot ruin everyone else's experience including your own? If the entire table bails because you kicked out the idiot and causes the entire game to fall apart, then it was going to happen over something else anyway.

"I'm sorry but after several sessions based on your apparent lack of interest and lack of participation in any capacity I'm going to have to ask you to leave the game. It's ruining the experience for everyone else including myself, perhaps you might find another gaming group that you fit in with better"

the end. leave it at that. No additional conversations, and give that exact same response to anyone else at the table who asks why the retard is gone. Problem solved.

I would maybe phrase it a little nicer but yeah, that would be the core of my message to the mong. Geek social fallacy and all, but even the other players seem to want to kick him to the curb so the course of action is clear.

"You don't seem to be having fun in session, and that's making things less fun for myself and other players. You should go find another game that you'll enjoy."

Fair points. I just wasn't expecting this to happen at my first time doing this. Doubly so since I've prepared a session that requires team efforts before his retardation popped up. I'll just kick him, and even the other players want me to do it too.
He might do another apology, but after his first apology that he didn't follow, I might see that as an attempt to stay and not believe him. 'Once bitten, twice shy' and all that.

Maybe I was lucky but I had a small tight-knit group of players (we had all been friends before gaming) and nobody really had any qualms saying "don't invite that retard back" if someone showed up and was a retard. This happened I think twice that I remember. It was generally not a big deal.

I had the same in college, too. Basically nobody not in friend group welcome.

Xenophobia is sometimes a good thing.

Just boot him. The only reason to continue communicating with this person after that is to laugh at whatever their apology, begging, etc. turns out to be. Especially considering that the other players seem to want this idiot gone, it's even less of an issue when you know the consensus is already there. They even know it's a problem since they already apologized for it and then failed to change what they were doing, so there's no reason to give them a third chance when they've already blown the 2nd chance.

And yeah, it's going to happen eventually if you're letting random ass people into a game you're running. Hell, it can happen when you invite someone you've known for 20 years but never played a game with them before.

I don't know what's gayer. Him doing a Soyjak meme for his thumbnail. He gets the history of the pre-AD&D second edition wrong or half the video is just him off subject personally attacking Gary Gygax. Or William SRD, a hardcore Lorraine Williams fanboy to begin with. Yes. 5E YouTube and players have boners for Lorraine William for some reason. The cunt was Kathleen Kennedy but worse. Same people who still cry about the satanic panic yet it was progressive feminist Lorraine William that gotten demons censored from D&D in the first place.

On one hand, based.
On the other hand, you are going to PAX east which is now basically a pride parade with out the marching band, so massively gay.

I genuinely tard rage whenever people criticize Gygax for utterly irrelevant shit. He had his lolcow aspects (like his autistic reviews of Conan and The Sword and the Sorcerer), but who gives a fuck if he was a sexist or whatever? The only way that's even reflected in the rules were a couple extremely minor things like a -1 or +1 to some stat here or there, superfluous rules you could easily ignore (and I did).

I'd be more interested in a critique of nonsensical aspects of basic mechanics, like armor making it harder to hit you instead of absorbing damage, a combat round supposedly being a minute (5e putting 10 rounds in a minute is a sensible change), and other silliness.

Most of the critiques from these soy-filled bitches are on the level of "he was fat."

He wasn't even sexist. He just said "I'm making a game for autistic guys. Women don't tend to like the stuff autistic guys like, so if they want to play they need to change their preferences to suit the game because the game won't change to suit theirs. Same reason I don't demand romance novelists write books that i like."
