This is completely unrelated to the thread, but long ago I remember reading an article on sperm banks. Because the clientele are usually of much higher status they have higher demands. Whites tend to be richer and thus have more access to these banks and they want white babies. A Jeet showing up and offering his sperm for donation would probably get laughed out of the clinic.

They also screen you intensively for any illnesses. Even if just a carrier of some unattractive gene you will be disallowed to donate. A minor heart problem in the family? That might just get you kicked out of the programme. Cum is more scrutinised a commodity than blood in that sense.

Do keep in mind this article I read this from was from over a decade ago. Maybe there are less scrupulous sperm banks out there or maybe the attitude and standards have changed. I very much doubt it though, the demand informs the supply with things like this and I would reckon they still are mostly looking for very healthy white guys to donate, not Ranjeet looking to make a buck and hoping his sperm ends up in some white woman.

The only test tube baby I've met was balding at 20 and had like a weird fat distribution where it looked like he was preggers. Greens held 4 seats pre election.
They look to have lost all 3 seats in Qld, Adam Bandt is still barely holding on in Melbourne.
The Greens are competitive in just 2 other electorates, Richmond (Byron Bay and surrounds) and Wills (inner north Melbourne), both are very close but I hope Labor holds out in both. If the Greens go from 4 to 0 seats they will be a laughing stock for years to come, even more then they already are.

In defence of the polls: The polls said that a) the primary vote of the Coalition was falling late in the campaign and b) Labor was doing well on 2PP. No-one was sure how that would play out in individual seats, and the primary+2PP mostly fits with the polls. The size of the Labor win in terms of seats is a little bit of an illusion.

Fatima Payman did not need to get re-elected because she decided to ride out her term that she started while in Labor rather than give up her seat and re-contest with her new party, IIRC. Not sure how it works.

Senators don't give up their seat. They get elected for two terms regardless of whether they stay in their party during that time (apart from in the territories, where they are up for re-election every time).
