Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 - Final Fantasy/Persona inspired FRPG

started to make 9999 damage and just beat the volleyplan minigame bros are we back?
I wish I could say that, but some Chromatic nigger raped me silly.
I'm probably low level, because I get one shot and 9999 damage is like a little fraction of his entire life.
He's also resist to my damage types (dark, light, lightning) and absorbs earth. Only fire works.
I got stubborn and did perfect parries until like 50%, when he started doing 7-8 hit combos.
We used to be back, but right now its..

I don't often see a game 10 days old breaking its all time player record but E33 nearly broke 130K players today compared to its previous record just above 120K. For a game not particularly long that is probably new players coming in from word of mouth. Nice to see.

I've been stacking the lumina that halves damage but stops healing and the one that gives 2 shields when below 50% HP for tanking hits, I've gotten pretty good at parrying but some of these side bosses (especially on Expert Mode) don't fuck around and require you to play perfect. The luminas that give 2k HP each are also great for making a tank class.

Also going to Frozen Hearts might've been a mistake (granted I was just trying to look for a good weapon for Lune) I'm level 50 and I just beat Old Lumina. I haven't been pressed by a single fight since.

In Stone Cliffs there's a Chromatic nigger, behind a Painted Spike.
He's close to the White Hexga.
Give that nigger a try.

Or try the Frost Evesque or the Chromatic Ballet in Falling Leaves.
I'm around 40 and these faggots wiped the floor with me, mainly because I get one shot from even a hit, from a multi-combo.

Right now, I'm farming levels and looking for good pictos, and I'm planning my revenge.
Soon, very soon, I'll rape them back.

Double post but in the time since the last post I made pitching about cutscenes, I have had to sit through literally 5 different ones now. They keep fucking going and going.

The Last of Us-ization of video games has been incredibly annoying. If I wanted to watch a movie, I'd watch a movie.

The one thing that sucka about this game: motherfucking cutscenes

Be creative and tell your story without endless fucking cutscenes.
It would be nice if you could fast forward through text like you can in some other games. I don't mind the story dumps because it's a good but I can read the text way faster than they speak it. One of them was so long that my controller turned off during it.

I already did both of those :smug:
This first guy I beat VERY EARLY ON into Act 2. Before I got into the battlefield. He took a ton of tries but counterattack damage carried me through. Also taught me to switch my pictos out to minmax HP or defense or whatever. The shields could be easily melted with Maelle's Rule Breaker attack.

The dancers were really fucking annoying as they dodged a ton of my attacks but if you have enough mutli-hit abilities with Luna and !Vergil, you can manage through. They also break easy and take a ton of counterattack damage. The orange one's basic attack was very annoying and I just took the hits for those if I could. The enchant was very easy and the tossable magic attacks took a couple of tries to manage.

I even did the Scavenger first try too :smug: My team's about mid to late 40s. Since it didn't absorb any magic attacks using Luna's attack that requires 4 different pictos to use which does extreme damage mopped the floor with the guy.

I also did the Frost Everque too, that one was hard as it resisted all of my general attacks but I managed to whittle him down with Moroco's ability to give party members shields. It's easily the best easily accessible blue magic he gets in the entire game.

Here's a general idea of what my party looks like. Sciel stays in the cuck shed, ignored until she is needed to clutch up a boss fight.

The only guy I genuinely don't know if I can beat is this fucker here. I haven't really given it a legitimate attempt beyond a couple of turns but this guy demolishes my team AND has probably close to a million to 2 million HP.

Also if you haven't tried the bouncing pate boss yet, MAKE SURE YOU HAVE MOROCO IN THE PARTY WHEN YOU BEAT HIM.

Beat the game with all achievements done (took me about 50hrs), though I did have to start a new game to kill the mime in the prologue as I missed him the first time. The game was phenomenal, especially the music.

The battle system was fun, but I do think it could do with some balanced. I feel there could be a solid middle ground between the initial damage cap of 9999 and the complete free-for-all that the endgame is (My record was 85mil, I saw someone broke a billion). Why bother learning some of the harder fights if I can just buff Maelle and pop Stendahl. I would also like to see ice, lightning, and earth damage to get their own status effects like fire did. I also did not experiment much with different weapons as farming upgrade materials is a pain, and the final material is quite limited (and the final upgrade just about doubled the damage). I am very much interested to see what the devs could to if they continue to refine this system in future titles.

And I thought the only woke thing about this game is the man fighting alongside THREE women, turns out it also has niggers in it, and Kiwifarmers making again excuses for a woke game. I actually already downloaded the cracked version to check it out, I think I skip it now.

"This is an example of sneaking in diversity in a very well made game in such a clever way that pointing it out will make you seem like overreacting while further normalizing the idea that Europe has always been "diverse". It is to be expected that this strategy will be used more often in the future instead of more blunt propaganda."

"If you want to do an alternate world, don't use La Tour Eiffel or L'Arc Du Triomphe as your setting only to turn it into South of Midnight.Expedition 33 is no better in that regard than woke slop like Bridgerton."

"sneaking in diversity" it's also exactly what you see on kiwifarms, RPGCODEX, and RPGHQ, more and more users are giving these things a pass, making these sites more woke by the day.

seems a lot of people are upset you dare insult their new favorite slop

I already did both of those
I fiddled with my picto and lumina a bit and decided to try again.

A bit of a slog, but his ass is mine. Time to visit the other faggots.

Oh my lord I don't think I can mentally handle doing that fucker again.
Second times are easier.
For example, I started a new game (since I decided on Sciel, but I had 0 lumina investment in her) and beat the Beach Volleyball on first try. All of them!

Here's a general idea of what my party looks like. Sciel stays in the cuck shed, ignored until she is needed to clutch up a boss fight
I don't have that ability yet, so it's either on one of the Axios island or some high end zone I didn't go to.
Also, your levels are all over the place.
My gamertism triggers if they don't have the same level and because of that, I equip solo pictos and level up those members that are left behind, with overworld encounters or merchant fights.

Also, why Monoco for the bouncing ball (the one in front of Coastal Cave, right?). He gonna sniff some feet?
