This is not evidence

I understand it is not evidence, however I have a moral and ethical standpoint not to enable the mentally retarded from doing things that even they are capable of doing such as checking a social media feed. So you're just going to have to check up on it on your own.

Basically same thing with Tier 1 cities, just ignore the state of the rest of China, yang guizi.
Or even the street level. They built all those skywalk streets because poor people aren’t allowed up and they needed a sanitized place to film.

It’s like Alita Battle Angel, except up top instead of the proverbial excelsiite pleasure domes, you have a regular city with extra LED lights

A war with Iran would last decades and end in defeat if we try to turn those cousin-fuckers into a 1st-world democracy. It would end quickly if the victory condition was to disestablish the Ayatollahs and make them sign a treaty agreeing to end all liaisons with militant Shia groups in other countries. Then you walk away and let them rebuild their own mess, warning them you'll be back for more if they fuck around.
Our finest pencil dicks in the DoD estimate that a war with Iran would take appx 23 days until their ability to make war was completely eliminated and their leadership was cast out. Wrecking shit has never been a problem. It's everything else, all the spillover effects.

I don't even know what Fascism is supposed to mean at this point when you have scholars claiming that the USA is under a fascist government because of Trump. I mean excuse me we're still one of the freest countries to ever exist in history and deporting illegals doesn't merit the designation of fascist in my eyes.

I think Authoritarian is more more important and clearly defined. I'm virulently against anything Authoritarian.
I think that fascism, as envisioned by the people who created the term to describe their own political philosophy, is best defined by what they think of as the essential human unit - Who you owe your duty to.

So on the far end, you have individualists who think that every man is, in fact, an island. The libertarian who wouldn't help his brother unless he could see the upside.

Then there are tribalists (for lack of a better word) who think that family is the essential unit. You saclifice for sake of famiry and cran.

Next are fascists who believe that the state/nation is the cohesive unit of human organization. Everything for the state, nothing outside of the state. You're not a person, you're an Italian. And if you aren't Italian enough, you better get Italian before we make you Italian.

Finally, there are communists that think that all of humanity is a single collective to be put to a single purpose. People think that fascism is left wing because communists are galaxy brain retards who never even come close to living their ideology so they just settle for a fascist leading them and they say it's the first step toward their ideology being realized. See the Han Chinese fashing it up in "communist" China.

"I believe something and have no evidence for it beyond my magical thinking." Gotcha.

The justice’s comments are the most direct criticism of the Trump administration by a supreme court justice since the US chief justice, John Roberts, rebuked the Trump administration in March for pushing for the impeachment of a federal judge. Jackson made the remarks at a judicial conference in Puerto Rico.
Why is a conference for the 1st Ciruit federal courts being held in Puerto Rico? We have jurisdiction but that'd be like having a federal level conference in Alaska, or Hawaii. It's only vaguely made better by the fact it's less remote than those two. I'm sure the judges want a business vacation and the Puerto Ricans are happy for more American Dinero but aren't these people supposed to be pissing their pants about climate change? I know even if they held it in Pensylvania or some shit they'd still find driving a couple hours beneath them but come on.

if you want to donate to protect her individually, that makes sense. My problem is people saying that this is to protect the white race which is obviously not the case.
You're pretending not to get it. They're saying "no, nigger community, you aren't unpersoning a white woman for saying "nigger" right after rewarding a nigger thug $500,000 for murdering a white kid" Whites are finally engaging in white identity politics and acting in their own group interest. I can see why this would piss a Jew off.

No, I mean like in a million ways, I don’t SEE myself as centrist.
Centrist is normally an illusion. It is just some hypothetical midpoint between the 2 party lumps.
Nobody would ever make the mistake that I’m ok with the left as it exists.
The left shifted away from you on some set of axes.
The problem is that everyone has dumb ideas, and what appears as centrism is actually my rejecting dumb ideas from all directions.
“We got an independent thinker here.”
You didn't follow and shift your thinking along with the lump. You want them to come to you, and meet your needs. They chased after cheaper or more lucrative options.
I think where we were socially in the 80’s and 90’s when I was a kid seemed fine.. being -not- racist wasn’t performative virtue signalling about how many inches of African dick you could take, it was just live and let live, with plenty of options to live somewhere that people you didn’t like weren’t there.
It was a pleasant time. The idea of peacefully coexisting is extremely appealing. Many on this site probably remember that time period, hence the Captain Planet memes. But, when you go back and look at the Captain Planet episodes now, you can see the subversive underpinnings and corrosive narratives. If it lasted as long as The Simpsons, there would probably be an episode extolling the virtues of "eating zee bugs"; probably around when The Simpsons canceled Apu.
I wish the economy hadn’t been so cucked, like I wish we kept manufacturing, and I wish it was still plausible to buy a house with money you just saved from a blue collar job over a few years instead of taking out a thirty year mortgage.
The public was sold a phony bag of goods. The TGIF aspirational family on TV, and the Star Trek: TNG future was just a spectacle while they robbed everyone.
Basically I’m content with like 90%+ of trumpism, and I think he usually is making the moves I’d like to see, he just has to decide to cross the rubicon
MAGA took the corpse of the Republican party and shifted more "populist", "nativist", and "nationalist". This picked up a lot of the stranded "I❤️90s" voters the Democrats and Republicans abandoned.
But what was a “right wing” policy during Bush II?
G.W. Bush positioned himself very closely to the Clintonian Al Gore positions. Bill Clinton having already triangulated closer to privatization. The electorate was split on gay rights, abortion, and religion. Natavist economics were absent from the ballot (Ross Perot and Pat Buchanin not being options).
Privatizing social security? I don’t want to feed the stock market like that; I think “line go up” cultism in regards to a wholly abstract conceptualization of the economy and cargo cult belief that loan liquidity = investment = gdp growth is as stupid of a model as militantly not knowing what a girl is
Like gravity pulling in the downward axis when dealing with real machines. Money and its corrupting influence pulls political machines on that axis. The political parties gravitate towards moneyed interests. Republicans catered more to the Military-Industrial-Complex, and the Democrats catered more to the Academia-Pharma-Complex. Both agreed replacing voters with indentured immigrants was preferable to sharing any wealth with the peasantry. Both agreed to build a surveillance state.

But one man refused to let the dream of the 90s die.

And through his courage he recruited others.

A 90s kid with fond memories of MtG:

Another sperg who will save the children just like Captain Planet would:

A man who can remember when Call of Duty didn't suck.

Another 90s kid (Hawaiian punch flavored). Who thinks the surveillance state is bad, and cosplaying as Rogue from the X-Men is cool.
Tulsi 90s.webp

A gay banker who remembers the 90s were a lot more fun.
Scott Bessent.webp

I haven't even mentioned the wife of Vince McMahon, the MTV star, or the others.

Maybe the promises of the 90s were all just wishful thinking. Can you have a diverse group of friends, and save the town from going bankrupt; all while catching some bank robbers? Will cynicism win over optimism? Will memes just be a dream?
Goonies.webp

MAGA is being held together by one man who luckily turned his head at the right time. The old Republican party is still putting up a fight with him. The Democrats are in disarray. Left, Right, and Center aren't very descriptive right now. If we are being honest Trump kinda is "The Center" of the political spectrum right now. MAGA is centrist. I don't know what 2 rivaling parties will emerge from this realignment.

Wasn't that John Adams?
Adams was on the committee and provided some input but the Declaration was Jefferson's creation and was written by him. the only real changes the committee of five did was some shortening and removal of Jefferson's condemnation of Slavery so the South would ratify the declaration.

removal of Jefferson's condemnation of Slavery so the South would ratify the declaration.
He framed slavery as an evil foisted upon the colonists by King George III. A proclamation by a colonial administrator which offered freedom to any enslaved person in the American colonies who volunteered to serve in the British army to fight against the Americans was also referenced.

Keeping the passage in didn't help unity, one-third of the Continental Congress were slave-holders and while Southern states had very good reasons to support it Jefferson himself had this to say about the issue in his autobiography:
"The pusillanimous idea that we had friends in England worth keeping terms with still haunted the minds of many. For this reason, those passages which conveyed censures on the people of England were struck out, lest they should give them offense. The clause, too, reprobating the enslaving the inhabitants of Africa was struck out in complaisance to South Carolina and Georgia, who had never attempted to restrain the importation of slaves, and who, on the contrary, still wished to continue it. Our Northern brethren also, I believe, felt a little tender under these censures, for though their people had very few slaves themselves, yet they had been pretty considerable carriers of them to others."

The left shifted away from you on some set of axes.
I was actually never aligned with the left, but my base perspective is like “disappointed idealist.” That’s just so far gone it might as well not be mentioned. Like, I was old enough to remember seeing shit on the tv like the Berlin Wall coming down, the Soviet Union dissolving, and then the next beat was Ruby Ridge, Waco, the OKC bombing, the unibomber.. Madeline Albright being a creep who wanted to talk to kids about jerking off..

So that’s why I used to think I was libertarian, until it turned out that the only things most of them care about are like legalizing drugs, cryptocurrencies and age of consent laws, and you have Rand Paul now trying to act like he didn’t just the other day attempt to force the country to resuming our prior status quo with China

Out of nowhere my dad talked about the tariff war and said that China will win it against America. A few days later the TV is on showing a talkshow dicussing the same topic. The people in the talkshow then proceed to give the same statements and arguments my dad gave, as if my dads opinions were formed by the television which gave a weird sense of dread.

Sadly, my dad has the TV always on as background noise. It's shitty but I still love him.
tl;dr Having a television in your home is like having a Bolshevik/Jew in your living room.
