Probably a digression from this thread, but a very interesting future scenario is that Putin, before his eventual death, changes the Russian constitution to establish a constitutional monarchy led by the Romanov pretender. This is the exact same thing that Franco did - the key difference probably being that the Spanish monarchy was still in living memory in 1975.
