I'm late to this, but I would bet any amount of money that, because the Promoter has strict legal liability for the way fights are conducted in Florida, they also have the right to remove organizers. What are the odds on a lawsuit after the fact, where the other organizers actually can blame Ian and Anisa for damaging the event's reputation, and showing negligence?
I am not familiar with this kind of thing at all, but is there not a history of lawsuits over people intentionally or recklessly ruining the reputation of a brand or company?

He was the headliner. Now that he's walked everyone who bought a ticket is entitled to a full refund because the fight they paid to see is no longer happening. If he doesn't come back CC3 is guaranteed to be a massive financial loss because all the proceeds from ticket sales will go towards refunds or into the pockets of the state of Florida.
