One thing I think that gets lost is that to a normal, well adjusted family, Ethan's giardia story is just his personal "toddler spreads a noxious disease to everyone in the family" story. Little kids do stuff like cough full force straight into your open mouth after you pick them up, vomit wildly without any pretense or prior sign of sickness, pick up things and transport them without caring, the list goes on. Most people have an experience like his where an illness like food poisoning or a bad flu is acquired by a child and rapidly passed to everyone around them. He probably has heard a bunch of these stories and was relating his without the thought that it was personal information like how any streamer might talk about getting an oatmeal bath for chickenpox or trying to clean themselves with tomato soup after meeting a skunk. Ethan already showed he LOVES suing people for smallest reason possible - if he truly believed a random online person or any of his many imaginary nemesis caused the CPS call - he'd have already started a lawsuit.

This is probably a hot take but I still think a medical professional like his doctor called CPS. It happened right after Ethan and his entire family were tested for Giardia. BTW, his doctor could have just been concerned the Klein's water source/well water was contaminated - that's the most common cause of Giardia (as opposed to neglected children in squalor consuming animal feces). In Oklahoma, I believe all homes with well water have to be tested once a year to check for Giardia (as well as other waterborne nasties). Snarkers act like Ethan caught some ancient disease like the bubonic plague, but Giardia isn't that rare.

Also, I doubt Ethan's deranged haters like BadEmpenada would have been able to make a complaint that would be deemed credible by authorities. For starters, BadEmpenada isn't even living within the United States.
