You should be confused, because it is essentially impossible to "baby trap" a woman. Baby trapping by any normal definition is when a woman secretly circumvents birth control to get pregnant by a partner that had no intention of getting her pregnant, then has the baby over the objections of the partner.

I guess you could argue that with the restrictions on abortions in some states, you could sabotage birth control methods as a man, then by the time the woman realizes she's pregnant, the state wouldn't allow her a choice. However, Becky was doing IVF. So no chance in hell that applies.

For IVF, egg production is stimulated with drugs, eggs are harvested with a procedure, a single sperm gets injected into each egg in a lab, embryos develop a few days, get assessed, then are typically frozen, then there is a procedure to implant an embryo. I guess that could be construed as rape by someone sufficiently insane, but that's some serious post-modern abstract rape.

Yeah, I would broadly agree with that assessment. We had that person here who knew Becky from her college days and apparently it was surprising to them when Becky stuck with Cuckson - he seemed like just another of the many guys she dated. I think, and I may have said this before, that “love” for Becky is wanting something she can’t fully have. Daniel was always a bit edgy - there was nothing legally binding him.
