I don't think so at all, there's a lot of horror cow shit that goes on openly in Japan because paedophilia is normalised to a certain extent. They don't hide that shit at all. Until recently, the age of consent was 13 and it was and still is very difficult to report child sexual abuse. I remember watching this unreported world video about child idols a few years ago. Think of the child influencers over here, or the toddler pageants, but much more blunt instead of dancing around the fact that they're exploiting these kids. The only reason I'm not a porn addict is because I found the nudity gross when I tried watching porn as a young teen. There's a reason clothing exists; nudity is ugly even if everyone involved is fit and clean. Back on topic, I've heard many people say they got hooked on hentai because being drawn made it less gross than real porn -- luckily I wasn't into anime stuff as a young teen, so I avoided that.
