I hate that they drag Pokemon into their shit. Like I've stumbled upon furry fetish porn when looking for regular Pokemon fanart before. Now imagine being a child with an iPad and stumbling upon all this shit, just because you wanted to look up "My Little Pony", "Sonic the Hedgehog", "Pokemon", "Bluey", etc.

Someone I know had asked me to do "smash or pass" on different Pokemon before, as if it was a completely normal thing to be attracted to Pokemon. I'm not attracted to even the more anthro ones.

Both Markiplier and Game Grumps are partly to blame for normalizing this, as they are both large YouTube channels that have have done "Pokémon Smash or Pass" videos before.

But then again i've never given a shit about markiplier because the memes making fun of him are more interesting and humorous than he ever was. If my life depended on knowing the name of just one of his videos I would be completely fucked, he was just one of those popular for being popular youtubers of the 2010s.

I'll give JohnOfE some credit: I don't think I've ever seen anyone this committed to the bit. He's like an old-school weirdo in that he's not actually hurting anyone.
