Almost anyone can sound intelligent and well spoken when armed with the right tools and enough takes. A thesaurus and a grammar checker are enough for most people, but now you have AI programs available that can generate scripts, adjust the complexity, teach you how to pronounce the long words, adjust your voice and hell, even do the speaking for you. Frankly it's far more difficult to fuck it up with so much to enable the lazy and stupid. It's wild how many youtube channels I find of people that sound intelligent and well spoken, but then all of their videos are about literal baby shows and they make those weird grounded videos. It's fascinating.
It's like everything else on that plate. Carrots cooked for too long on one side, rice is way overcooked since they look like hard plastic pellets, chicken looks plain as fuck. Doesn't look like an ounce of seasoning was used anywhere and I would bet 100 dollars that the chicken was dry as fuck. What's wrong with those carrots?
It's Chibi, every time he cooks instead of heating frozen meals or ordering takeout he'll make sure to announce it on facebook to get asspats on how much of a functional adult he is despite muh mentals (35 years old)I'm more just wondering how it was worth taking a photo of and posting on Facebook when it's really nothing special
God, it still shakes me a little bit when I'm reminded of his age. Dude's in his mid-thirties but still acts like a teenager beginning puberty. He truly is the end-result of teens being overly coddled, they never grow out of these self-destructive oversharing anticsIt's Chibi, every time he cooks instead of heating frozen meals or ordering takeout he'll make sure to announce it on facebook to get asspats on how much of a functional adult he is despite muh mentals (35 years old)
I am a little curious. It's obvious that his autistic takoyaki fixation is just because of the Nihon connection and calorific value, but is it even anything special in context? Is it considered quintessentially Japanese like apple pie is American? Does it have some cultural or traditional relevance like Thanksgiving turkey? Because as far as I was aware it was just junk food that they sold at stands like hot dogs.At least it's something other than takoyaki
It's staple Osaka street food and damn tasty too but it's not as iconic as, say, sushi or ramen. As much as I love it, I really don't know why he's so obsessed with it. I think it's just that it's easy to makeI am a little curious. There've been a few games and anime series (medabots and yakuza being the foremost examples that spring to mind right now) that have done takoyaki subplots/episodes, usually as a bit of a joke with one or more character(s) treating the snack food as a thing of great importance, possibly a metaphor for life, the universe, and everything (the punchline of course being it's just an octopus ball bro it's not that deep). My money's on this being like when CWC would earnestly repeat jokes from family guy - one of Cheebs' autistic fixations bigged up takoyaki as a joke and it went over his head.I really don't know why he's so obsessed with it
It's very Japanese but it's considered street or fair food. However it's not what you think of when thinking about Japan.I am a little curious. I'm going throw out a wild idea out there. Cheebs is obsessed with Persona 5, and P5 had an plot related scene that actually involved Takoyaki. One of the characters mentioned that they had always wanted to go to a festival with friends and enjoy things like Takoyaki so I'm thinking Cheebs saw that and just assumed that friends getting together and eating Takoyaki was some kind of cool thing everybody does in Japan. It's very Japanese but it's considered street or fair food. My guess is? Chibi just really really likes it because autism.
So you're saying if they said "gyoza" or something other than takoyaki he'd be into those instead?I'm going throw out a wild idea out there. now I can't stop thinking about how much fun chibi's fugu stand could have beenSo you're saying if they said "gyoza" or something other than takoyaki he'd be into those instead?
Well, he is "totally bi" remember, so this way he gets to put balls in his mouth and relieve him from actually finding another man (which he never has despite being an LGBTQIA+TSP0IJX icon)I am a little curious. Remember this is the same guy who thought tidying his apartment even though he didn't really want to and brushing his teeth were achievements worthy of telling Facebook about.I'm more just wondering how it was worth taking a photo of and posting on Facebook when it's really nothing special
Takoyaki just tastes really good. It’s also plastered in any anime or media that takes place in osaka or kansai in general.I am a little curious. In retrospect I think he was trying to imitate people with such severe depression and anxiety that everyday shit like that becomes a burden. You see this a lot from fake mental health posters for some reason. As to whether or not he actually completed the tasks as described, I will believe it when timestamped video proof emerges.Remember this is the same guy who thought tidying his apartment even though he didn't really want to and brushing his teeth were achievements worthy of telling Facebook about.
That's almost certainly what he's doing, because everything with Adam is monkey see monkey do. Even people who do have actual depression shouldn't be posting that shit on social media imo, but definitely not Adam with his imaginary self-diagnosis.In retrospect I think he was trying to imitate people with such severe depression and anxiety that everyday shit like that becomes a burden.
