Oh, The Rs are going to absolutely be routed in 2026. I'd love to be wrong but I fully expect we'll lose the House, and more than a third of the Senate will be up for grabs then too. The Dems will circle the wagons, as they always, always do, while the Rs bicker amongst themselves and thereby persuade the voters to "vote their consciences" with predictable results.
As in 2024 and 2022 the GOP has no message at all. None. They're just as disunited as the Democrats, just without hooting niggers and shrill cat ladies causing daily embarrassment. The caucus has not, as a whole, embraced MAGA, and too many of them still are bucking against its core ideas. A major issue is maybe half the party is in the throes of a version of libertarian ideology that says anything businesses want to do, including importing infinity jeets and forcing their employees to take untested "vaccines", is good, and the government has no business getting in the way. On top of that, you have cargo-cult Reaganism saying that all social issues are insta-losers, so they're unable to do anything but the most half-hearted actions against trans insanity, even "trans kids." Recall that the TX-GOP completely shut out citizen activists trying to bring the issue to their attention, and Kristi Noem cucked to the NCAA early on the trans issue.
Same thing is behind why the GOP has
never undone any left-wing initiatives to politicize the Armed Forces and turn it into a social experiment. Feminism is a social issue, and social issues are losers, so let's just allow women, fags, trannies, and fat niglets destroy our combat readiness.
At the end of the day, far too many Republican politicians still think the only issues that are safe to run on are cutting taxes and increasing defense spending. The Democrats, by contrast, are uniting once again around the message of stopping Hitler from putting innocent brown people in concentration camps. It's a retarded message, but it's a message at least.
