I'm not being sued for defamation. I'm being—hah, I don't even know at this point what I'm being sued for. I don't even know if they know what I'm being sued for, but we're figuring it out one new filing at a time.

Any tort, okay? Somebody accuses me civilly of something, okay? [unintelligible] Umm, and let's say that there's like a question about—well, fuck, actually we can ground this out in a super real example.
Somebody accuses you of something, and they—umm, so, tort is civil cases, right? Somebody wants to sue you for something. And then let's say somebody does that, and let's say that they, umm—let's say that they, umm—let's say that there is a contentious issue relating to, uhh, we'll say, a Discord log, okay? Some type of chat program.
Umm, maybe it's the case that, well, if it's a civil case and two people have a disagreement over whatever, umm. You know, maybe you have screenshots, maybe you don't, maybe whatever, you just don't care that much, right? And let's say you go to court and you lose your civil case, and it's like, okay, well, I lost. And then you have to pay the other party $10,000. Like, okay whatever, that sucks, okay.
If people in the future go back and they go, "Oh, weren't you convicted of a crime?" It's like, no, no, no, no, no, hold on. That was a civil case. I was not convicted of anything. And you might say, "Well, hold on. That civil case was about the thing that that guy said you were convicted of, right?" It's like, yes, but the, the, the forum that they were in there was for a civil case.
If it had been a criminal case from the start, maybe when there was some contention over, like, images on Discord. Maybe the approach would have been a lot different. It's like, hold on. Well, this is a criminal case, so now my freedom is at stake. You might send subpoenas to Discord to pull information. You might start contacting friends, family members, other people. It's like, does anybody else have a screenshot? Has anybody else seen this? You might bring on witnesses to testify to see a conversation. You might approach that way differently, umm, such that maybe you would have even won the civil case if you would have taken it more seriously.
