Speaking of fallenchungus wiki, i was searching around on it and saw someone uploaded an early build of Agony Arena on its page. It's a google drive link that i probably shouldn't've downloaded but i did anyway, and it seems to be legit. Here are some screenshots of it in roblox studio:

It's dated September 12, 2024, so this would've been in its VERY early stages. Its obvious when you play it because everythings severely unfinished or broken. I remember in his old groomcord server he let seemingly random members get early access to the game, so thats probably how this leaked. I hope we get something like this for Printern because we know that will never be fully released.

Theory: the Francis “hiatus” will end on May 26, when the open beta of printern launches (you laugh you lose), and he’ll have to promote his game under his datsmojo name because as much as we hate it, mentally ill children still give him clout on xitter. From there the spergouts will continue as scheduled.

Skimming through this place, it seems pretty competent for the early stages of development. I think the only reason it's severely broken is because the code relies on animations playing, which can't happen since animations on Roblox can only be used by the person/group that created them. You can tell he had quite a few programmers on 'bux payroll. (or, his programmers found a lot of scripts online to take. Not much wrong with that, but still.)
Nothing super egregious I could see in the code other than a random while true loop and == comparing booleans. Though, I find it odd that they put all of their assets in ReplicatedStorage. All assets placed inside ReplicatedStorage are loaded and stored by the client, as opposed to ServerStorage which stores them on the server. If they're doing this with Printern then it increases the ease at which someone could datamine their assets, which Francis would likely leak over.
A dev with a higher power level than me can probably say there's a valid reason for putting everything in ReplicatedStorage, but I don't really care, anything related to the client in 'blox scares me.

I don't know if this is a hot take or not but I will never view Roblox as an actually serious game engine. Not because the games aren't good, (some of them surprisingly are) but because you can't distribute them outside of Roblox's shitty proprietary social network. Your progression is tied to an account which they can just delete whenever they feel like it. Yes, a lot of game stores also work that way as well, but they seem to ban people much less erratically than Roblox, giving the consumer at least - some - faith in something like Steam.

This whole thing really just looks like an excuse for Francis to talk to more children.

Unrelated but @datsactuallymojo KILL YOURSELF NOW NIGGER. Sorry had to get that off my chest.

Nigga what hype? You're currently advertising the game to your small circle of children and trannies on your groomcord, the hype can't die if there wasn't any hype to begin with. And with these delays, the only thing dying is the project itself.

How long has it been since Francis deactivated his Xitter? How close are we to the 30 day mark of permanent deactivation?

The whole gimmick is supposed to be printing images that are randomly chosen for you from Roblox Decals. Basically, you're browsing the Decal page, but instead you get to see only one picture at a time, and without any search options as it's supposed to be randomized, meaning you'll get anything from the billions/trillions/gorillions of decals that exist in Roblox (including all that EPI shit).

Tl;dr: It's just a glorified random image generator that might be even bigger flop than Agony Arena.

Adding to this: the project's death won't be interest decaying with the delays, but because the more time you give Francis before the game comes out, the higher the chance of him crashing out and deleting the server/scrapping the whole project again.
