Atomfall - Rebellion makes MetroSTALKEROut set in the British Countryside

I saw that video too. Snack Wars' choice of food to compare are almost always bizarre as fuck; it's like, "Hey, compare this steak to... this bag of crisps made from the residual powder of beef left behind that we found at the bottom of this barrel.".
I mean, Pumpkin Spice Latte vs Bovril? Bovril is a beef extract that you either spread on toast, or use as flavouring for other dishes, (I know it says you can add it to water as a drink, but it's not comparable to a sweet coffee), you may as well have asked him to just eat a chicken bouillon cube.
Seth Rollins liked it tho, and I HATE pumpkin spice.
Especially those lattes after learning just how much sugar is in them.

Forgot to post some of my screenshots.
Here’s some of the Easter Eggs I found. The last one is a Jaws Easter Egg I believe.

Not blaming you, but Rebellion since they've been showing that off for a while. Its weird because they did the forearm right, because considering melee weapons are a thing its what you'd use for a defensive block while keeping your main hand ready and safe, but then someone at their art department probably went "Hey, this design looks imbalanced! Put something on his other arm to even things out!"

I was saying it in a sarcastic way.
I agree with you.

It's even funnier when you realize one of the rebellion co founders is this guy.

Picked this up a few days ago and just finished it. Really enjoyed it a lot. Did the telephone guy's route but dabbled in others. I'm curious how one could do a less murderous run, considering to get the Signal Redirector (or whatever it's called) I had to basically wade into several Protocol camps/bunkers and slaughter the lot of them.

My peak combat moment was when I popped out of a bunker and was facing down a robot with nowhere to run. Had no idea how to kill the fucker but I had read a note previously talking about how villagers were looking for a weakpoint so I just shot the glass dome a thousand times with the rifle I was carrying at the time and managed to get him to kneel before he did his best ED209 impression for me. I felt like a real cool guy.

Really cool game. I was surprised there didn't appear to be a scoped rifle considering the tenure of the team, but of course I definitely didn't find all the unique weapons. My final loadout was the cricket bat, and the pristine 1911, semiauto shotgun, and bolt sniper. The 1911 and auto 5 were ridiculously easy to pristine considering the soldiers carry tons of them, but the Lee took a while.

I'm really enjoying this game after replaying the Last of Us and craving aa post-apoc survival style game. Did not expect Skyrim Last of Us to hit so good but the leading story bits have me intrigued along with the various factions.

I snuck into the Druid Castle but I guess I found the backway in because I hid in the shadows and used the janky AI to kill off the priestess and slowly lure most of the camp to the basement kill by kill. I guess my only complaint is the janky AI and randomly 'trespassing' to piss people off but you can back away most of the time. I did accidentally reload my gun in front of a guard in the town which pissed him off and he/the robot started yelling at me. I got flustered and still didnt know the controls well enough so I guess I didn't move quickly enough which pissed off the entire town.

I played Atomfall on game pass and enjoyed it a lot. My game pass time expired before I could finish the game, so I will probably buy it on Steam when it goes on sale.

The Wicked Isle DLC came out a few weeks ago:

Has anyone had a chance to play it? Is the DLC worth getting?

Same, lol.
I was impressed by how well it ran on PC.

I'm pleasantly surprised with how this game turned out. It's a shame it doesn't have more in-depth mechanics or a bigger world so this could truly be a British STALKER but it's good enough, kind of how Bioshock is kind of a survival horror immersive sim but not really at the same time, but it's good enough.
I support Rebellion making more of this when they're not in the Sniper Elite mines(or at least make more Nazi Zombie Army, now that COD Zombies are in the shitter thanks to Activision).
