Atomfall - Rebellion makes MetroSTALKEROut set in the British Countryside

Also, that melee weapon... can you get it? I tried interacting with it but couldn't do anything. Was under attack at the time so I didn't think to look around.
Yep, I was able to pull it out of the rock, the plant enemy nearby spit me JUST as I'd pulled it out. Guess you just gotta time it right. That weapon is really good btw - it's fast attack speed AND high damage AND has the bleed effect. Kinda OP honestly.

Small slot. It's dope as fuck.

Tried a speedrun last night just for fun, and I beat it in just over an hour. On the lowest difficulty, mind you, but if you know your way through it can be really short. Was also fucking around on my other save file, looking for other uses for the Atomic Batteries, but seems all you need them for is the Interchange. While I appreciate the large number of them that you can find in the world, I would've appreciated some heads up that they're kinda worthless outside of story progression. Would've been cool to spin up one of the IFV/light tanks that clearly has a slot for atomic batteries and charge into a base.

Does this game let you skip a huge chunk of the story if you know your way around then, kind of like how you can navigate your way thru Cazadores and Deathclaws straight to New Vegas? I love games like that.

I’ve been wondering if the game was worth picking up, after reading through the comments here I think I’ll give it a try.

Games can’t just be “Good” anymore. A game has to be either complete shit or a masterpiece to a lot of these types. Hell, it only has 2.5 out of 5 stars on Xbox

There used to be a decent market for middle ground games and developers, but it seems to have almost vanished now. I’ll take a cheaper janky game made with some heart over $80 AAA games that make me feel like I’m drinking bleach. Kind of reminds me of the game Vampyr, came out as a budget title, bit rough around the edges, but for the price it was very enjoyable.

Yeah, basically there are six potential paths you can take to an ending, so while you - like me - can spend a good fifteen-twenty-ish hours exploring the different paths and seeing which one you like best, if you already know the questline to the ending you can just follow that and beat it pretty quickly. The five hours that they allow for the speedrun is generous as all hell.

Game was good, but a barely taped together shit sack in terms of stability. I was also a smoothbrain and made it too easy, because I went full 'blah! I am creature of ze niiiigggghhhttt!" and ate everyone I met. Made me OP as fuck.
Same, never beat it on console due to the poor stability.
I was disappointed in how you had to use weapons as your melee attack except for certain special vampire moves and there wasn’t much in the way of outfit customization.
But yeah I got to that one part and ate the nurse so that I was powerful enough to start eating other named characters and ate the negro weapons dealer thus causing his named girlfriend character to flee the safe area and join up with the Vampire Hunter faction and becoming an enemy in one section.

Might try it again someday if it wasn’t abandoned and they ended up fixing the bugs. I was disappointed in it because I was looking for a 3rd person action sort of game where you play as a vampire for a long time.

I have one big criticism; the blue niggers aren't fun to fight. You just dome them with the arrows in the head from stealth before they wake up, or you get ready for an arse pounding when four of them run you down.

Yeah, once you realise that's the optimal way to fight them it becomes kinda pointless to do anything else. A shotgun will make short work of them too, if they wake up and come for a tussel. At least there aren't too many of the fuckers.
