The problem with the whole excuse of "regulating or banning anything leads to a slippery slope of problems" for not doing anything is that we are already on a very slippery slope of problems from certain things not being regulated or banned. Things are actively going wrong and it needs to be fixed and Libertarians complaining about "muh small government" don't offer any solutions, they just want to feed the problems the US has.

People live in groups, so they have a baseline level to ensure the health of the group on a personal and societal level. Anything else is a cope.

I think I have a bias on this, as I was raised by people that weren't exactly ready to be parents. It ended up being a variety of people in my community that didn't have the "job" of raising me but helped me during the worst parts of my childhood. I find the manchild boomer "fuck you got mine" mentality of people like Day of the Cope disgusting because of this. They don't actually want to answer the awkward question of "what if the parent is unfit to parent" and let groomers and psychopaths take the empty slot, which then causes society to rot as a consequence. Not to mention any government system will be both more expensive and less effective than just solving the problem yourself. It takes all one ONE afternoon to look up how to do some network level blocking for pornography, there are entire guides, resources, open source softwares and step by step plans you can find and download to make it exceedingly hard for anyone on a network you control to get any sort of porn.

If the argument is people won't bother, won't try, or are too stupid for it, I'm not buying it. Parenthood is an obligation, not a option, and I've seen retards who don't know the first thing about the internet set up entire IPTV DVR setups to steal every streaming service they can find, and do so over a weekend.
