Really? Do you know how many khantent creators just like DSP with the same opportunities ended up fucking broke? It's hard to get numbers on this sort of thing but I can almost guarantee there are more people who ended up broke & also burnt out after making khantent for 10 years plus.

DSP has an easy as fuck cushy job, he plays video games 5 hours a day and makes 6 figures. No one here wants to be a potato shaped autist with a fat wife, the only thing people are saying is his job is super cushy and it would be nice being your own boss that makes good money doing jack shit all day.

All this weird cope about loneliness or lack of social interaction, or whatever sounds like projection. You should have social interaction outside of your coworkers, its probally unhealthy if your coworkers, people your semi forced to socialize with you, were your only friends.

My office was WFH for two years during covid and I loved it. I socialized way more with friends and family when I got to cut out all the extra time wasted on commute and prepping for work, etc, and thats working a regular shift, not this 4-5 hours a day phil does.

Basically there are two distinct things we're talking about but you're combining:

• "I want the kind of money that DSP makes" - totally fair thing to say. A lot of people want that.
• "I want the kind of money that DSP makes and if I became him I'd be able to do it or maintain it" - I mean I guess its a reasonable thing to say if you're retarded but its blatantly false. He's a piece of shit. Everyone hates him. He hates himself. You would mentally crumble under the weight of his debt and poor lifestyle decisions. You fail to realize that his whole shtick and how he gets money is directly attributed to him having a hardcore gambling addiction and his behavior is in many ways a product of alcoholism. He's extremely unfit and unhealthy so you're be bringing your expected lifespan down by like 20-30 years almost immediately - for fucks sake he's only in his early 40s and has muscle atrophy. He's mentally unstable/unhealthy and can't even leave the house.

The thing about amazon is that they actually have two different plans on certain items, Affirm and their own personal payment plan.

Their own payment plan is a 5 month thing, where you put down a down payment for the first month then pay a certain amount based on the cost for next 4 month kind of like layaway but it more expensive then Affirm which is more like a credit card then anything else. So of course, dsp would pick the worser of the two.

I swear I remember Phil trying to get on either Cinemassacre or ThatGuyWithTheGlasses as well. I wouldn't be shocked if he only stuck with Machinima because they both rejected him. You're correct. Phil wanted to be part of CInemassacre and ThatGuyWithTheGlasses, but Phil claimed his application was denied, which is why he developed a hate boner for both James and Doug. Hell, Phil was denied my Machinima at first and even going scorched Earth policy originally until he BEGGED another Machinima partner - can't recall their name at this moment - to get in. He even talked Phil into taking the video down calling Machinima "shills" and "con artists" and Phil bragging how he was the smartest man in the room "Because I went to business school and have a business degree."

The story goes is that Phil was approached by Machinima first, however, Phil wanted HIS videos on the Machinima front page, along with being featured weekly, along with the cut at someone that was pulling six figure views. Machinima laughed at his face.

Once Phil got in, the fucker was too lazy to add a 20 second clip of the Machinima logo into his videos, claiming that "Someone else can do it." Phil couldn't spend 2 minutes to drag and drop a video into the timeline, hit save. Too much work, dood!

When Machinima was a sinking ship, he was one of the last to stay, as Machinima "still paid better than most" managed partners, while everyone was leaving and getting better deals. Hell, even his old partner manager saw the writing on the wall and even asked him "So, what plans do you have after this?" Even HE knew this was a sinking ship. Phil's response? "Continue making content."

Phil goes where there is already an established base. He doesn't venture out and try something new, he's comfortable be lazy. He likes shitting on people that are more successful than him, hell, even bigger content creators don't mention his name because they know it'll just bring ire to him and everyone knows Phil is a cancer.

Phil is beyond help. Even now, we're starting to see more and more of his true self coming out. I'm waiting for the day he goes back to 2013 Phil and let's the hate come through and ditches the "I'm PAWsitive, dood!" bullshit.

In the end it's just not a funny, or even remotely intelligent joke. He also did the "what color are you?" and waited like 20 seconds while grinning, as if the punchline wasn't obvious. It really makes me wonder if Phil hears applause when he does that (I know he eyefucks chat but even they were like "what?"). That's the thing with dark humour, you need to have a certain level of intelligence, you don't just scream "HAHA NIGGERS" because that's what a 13 y/o does since their idea of a joke is to get a reaction and say a no-no word, which is exactly what Phil did here.

Phil isn't a smart or witty guy, in fact he's remarkably unintelligent, all his race jokes are basically doing a chinese voice or saying "BLACK PEOPLE" not even a stereotype, he laughs and bites his nails when he sees a nig on screen because that by itself is a joke in Phil's mind. That's why someone like Nick Mullen can make a bit about Hillary Clinton saying the N word during a debate or fucking a baby and be funny, and why Phil sucks. One kinda sets the whole thing up and builds up around it, so in the end the racial aspect is just the premise. Phil starts with the punchline.

All that autism aside, the best part is that it was completely unprompted. At no point the question was about race, just asking for tips after moving to a new neighborhood. Phil somehow had to reply "IF IT AIN'T WHITE IT AIN'T RIGHT".

He was copying what other "big names" were doing. If you follow Retsupurae at all. You can learn that the Rijno was kind of a notorious name in the early days of Youtube LP's. Because while the SomethingAwful crowd could be fucking stuck up cunts. They had a point a lot of the time. YouTube LPs were usually pretty awful. And you could tell with the commentary.
