It's funny you accuse me of not being genuine/having bad intent because I try to question everything. My secular Israeli friends are pissed off at me because I advocate for Haredi anti zionism and the need for zionists to reconcile their hatred for religious Jews.

My religious friend and I had a strong argument where he was freaking out about Trump's recent moves and how he thought it was bad for Israel. I called him an idol worshipper for his idealization of Trump and pointed out that Trump is an instrument in the hands of God.

If you have an ideology that you value and you want to develop your critical thinking skills, you have to constantly question things even when people will get mad at you for it.

I can't tell you how much it pisses me off when I meet a Zionist who can't justify why they're a Zionist.

But Ali Al-Ansari, Qatar’s Media Attaché to the U.S., told POLITICO the reports are “inaccurate,” suggesting the donation, at the very least, had yet to be finalized.

The only named Qatari source for this whole plane thing says it's not even a finalized deal.

Later Trump calls it a gift from Qatar.

White House spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt said legal details surrounding the donation to the Defense Department were still being worked out and that the Trump administration was not worried about what the Qataris might ask for in return.

They also carry a significant amount of blame for facilitating the October 7th massacre that saw 12 Americans kidnapped and 48 Americans murdered. They also perpetuated the hostage situation by housing and protecting Hamas leadership in Doha.

Qatar is a nation of 300k nationals, composing only 10% of their own population. The vast majority of the country is uninhabited desert. Yet Qatar causes unrest on campuses by funneling massive amount of money into top US universities to buy influence. It is the most significant foreign donor to US universities. Maybe if Qatar had decent values and didn’t support jihad, this wouldn’t be as concerning.

Honestly I do not like Qatar and Saudi Arabia, but Trump has a long history of having tricks up his sleeve and successfully playing the long game. Let's see how it plays out.
