Unpopular Opinions about Video Games

Celeste (despite being troonslop) absolutely nailed it's movement system.
Wasn't it that the author trooned out after releasing the game and then tried to pull out a JK Rowling style of change that the game is about being transsexual or something? It's been a while since I've played it but it seemed to me that the 3deep5you theme of this game was about coming to terms with depression. I don't recall a single mention of transsexualism in the game.
This article seems to confirm my theory since the interview is from 2019 and the author says the following:
In a Medium post entitled "Is Madeline Canonically Trans?" Thorson makes it clear that she is. Thorson says that, while they didn't know Madeline was trans when development started, "I now know that we both are," referencing their own journey with gender identity (Thorson came out as non-binary in 2019).
The game was released in 2018 and there's a version called "Celeste Classic" which came out in 2015 and still lists "Matt" instead of "Maddy" on the title screen. So this is a change that wasn't planned originally.

I really hate when devs waste resources adding useless multiplayer. Who the hell has 3 other friends willing to play Guacamelee with them?
Pretty much anybody between the ages of 18 and 21 living in a dorm or frat house. We played the shit out of 4P games when I was in college. Good for children in a neighborhood with a lot of kids, too, but nobody has kids any more.

I'm not sure if anyone remembers this but do you remember where, in the PSP, certain games had XMB/Home menu intros that showcases the game in small snippets? I thought those were a cool addition. Nowadays you don't even get that in modern games anymore.
Bro I got hit with so much nostalgia right now. The first games I had for my PSP were the Yugioh Tag Force games and they sadly didn't have that, however Tekken 6 was the first non-Yugioh game I got and I was just blown away when music started playing on the XMB

I'm pretty sure PS3 had it too.

Who the hell wants to move the character with their right hand?
Everyone in a happy two parent household of white people? Really telling on yourself there

The controls are arrow keys, X and C. Who the hell wants to move the character with their right hand? I've only seen a handful of games that do this. I remember having to use Autohotkey to rebind everything when I was playing Flashback because it did that.
Arrows keys to move was mostly the standard with old flash games. Emulators also usually default to mapping d-pad to arrow keys and face buttons to zxc and/or asd rows. And RPG Maker games too. Honestly, using wasd to move sounds weird and awkward for a sideview platformer. I only use my left to move in games where my right hand is busy using the mouse.

Fair enough. The example I mentioned (Flashback) is a DOS game and I think some of those may've had similar bindings. However, it's still a weird configuration seeing as every single gamepad and joystick in existence has the stick/d-pad on the left. When I play arcade games on MAME, I bind movement to WASD and everything else to numpad keys (for instance: 7 - attack, 8 - jump, 9 - dash).

I read this before reading what you were replying to.
SA is about a bunch of dumb fat retarded niggers killing each other for literally no reason and the fed contact you work for confirms every conspiracy theory to be true. You're retarded.
I haven't played it since I was a kid but it left me thinking; Is that what was happening in Sonic Adventure?!

WoW became shit not since Cata but all the way since TBC when they introduced alien space goats as a part of the main storyline, flying mounts and when game design shifted towards making raiding guilds happy.

Kingdom Come Deliverance is terrible. I just tried the first game today as it was given away free during the release of KCD2. I was looking forward to playing it, as it seemed highly praised here and by my friends. What am I missing? It's actually dogshit. It is so incredibly boring and I legitimately nodded off during the first quest. It is extremely clunky, and the theme of telling a person you are ready to do X quest, and then you have to walk with them for a minute to a location, only to again talk to them to say yes I want to do X quest is really fucking tedious. My parents were just slaughtered and I went through the most clunky escape sequence ever and got to the next town. I alt-f4'd in the middle of a cutscene, I just have no desire to continue.

Oh yea the voice acting and sound design is also horrible. It sounds like the devs just had his friends read lines and recorded over discord, with the exception of the father character. There is also little to no ambient noise and no music, I thought maybe I accidentally muted the sound settings or my installation was corrupted.
